Ford must know something that every other major automaker does not. They have decided to eliminate all entry level vehicles from their offerings.

Thinning the herd. I expected more from Ford to be honest. They used to be my "go to" truck back during the 7.3 diesel days.
As much as the world gives us crap, Americans are pretty smart. They wont buy 65k trucks that fly apart for long. Reliability is the game now.. quality parts, and follow up service and experience. Oh well.. not our problem I suppose.

I used to love ford too. I wanted to buy the f150 in 2010. I just couldn’t spend so much more than toyota for basically the same thing

I remember a few years back and the commercials were always 10k off and all I could think about was 10k off of what???? And if I had to ask that meant I could not afford it.

When a company lies like a cheap rug: https://www.freep.com/in-depth/mone...-focus-fiesta-transmission-defect/1671198001/

It costs a lot of money to fix and their reputation is Shot. They shot their reputation with me with the Ford Pinto and Mustang II in the 70s. Saw a two friends in high school die in those when the gas tanks blew up when rear-ended, all because Ford choose not to spend $2.25 extra to prevent it.

Ford is a One Trick Pony - F series trucks. For me that isn't near enough of a trick.

I started my love for trucks with a new 88 Ranger STX, that truck was amazing to me. I had a couple after that, a couple Bronco II’s, and a new 04 F150. They were all good vehicles. I always have had a thing for a Super Duty, but never owned one. I’m an all Toyota family now, have been for a while. I hope that they get there stuff together so I can finally get my dream car Mustang GT before I die!

I work on their cars and trucks every day. No doubt in my mind they don’t care about quality anymore.

What do you expect from a finance company that uses vehicles as a commodity.

I don’t have any beef with Fords, my 250 super duty has been good since 2017 and 98k miles.
Heck I’ve almost bought a Raptor twice!
I just can’t move past their build quality/ long term durability. I just don’t see the quality at $70k plus trucks should have.
