For the not going behind the accelerator pedal, that's intentional. Toyota doesn't like mats under gas pedals. There was that period in time when Toyotas were always Moving Forward, whether you wanted them to or not.

Thanks for the tips everyone. Think I figured out what'll work. Ordered the Husky set, installed it. Like the fit for the front but not the rear seat area. So, I ended up keeping the rear weather tech liner in. It covers everything my kids step on when getting in and out. And put the Husky's in the front. The combination works well. Think the weather tech has enough meat for trimming and adjustment after I install storage under the rear seats too.

My Maxpiders ripped on the driver’s side. After only 4 years and 26k miles. I only drive my truck on weekends. They were great but don’t seem to hold up. I’ll keep the rear but will probably replace fronts with huskies.

I'll probably leave my stock mats in until something happens to them, they seem to fit quite well, especially up front.

I wish the back was one piece though. The seam is not perfect in the rear and it drives me nuts. Might have to take it out, epoxy them together and see if that fixes it. They use some stupid rubber boots connector that isn't tight.

The coverage on those looks amazing. I want some. I've not looked into husky at all, so apologies if this is a dumb question, do they only make one type of mat? Some companies offer a few varieties ranging from pretty mild to super durable mud holders, and I would hate to order the wrong thing.

I have the maxliner front and rears. I like them a lot and they cover very well.

Here's a pic with the rears. I got mine for about $130. They came in a Toyota box. Note the PN

FWIW, mine came installed (free) and the carpet mats were still bagged

Husky here, too. My then 2-year-old had an accident standing on the floor mat in the backseat...those mats saved my carpet. Love the extremely high sides. I have nothing but good things to say about the Husky mats.

I have the OEM front and rears. I like the mats, but the coverage isn't great. I ordered a Maxliner rear floor mat and it just didn't lay flat and the fitment was off slightly. I returned and exchanged for a Husky X-Act rear liner. I may upgrade the fronts too.

Has anyone had both Husky classic & X-Act mats? I have the classics and need a good reason to convince myself to get the X-Acts.

Another vote for husky! I have the x-acts and they are awesome. Zero sliding around a on the passenger side is a huge plus too.

Installed my Husky Weather Beaters this week. Very happy with them. I like how the driver mat goes high on the dead pedal, the left part of the mat edge goes over the edge of the carpet and it comes up and covers the seat bracket bolts. Will protect them from the winter road salt.

I was impressed with the OEM all-weather mats but these Husky's blow them out of the water.

The rear mat is great. will come in handy for kid spills and when my son climbs all over the edge of carpeting under the seats.

Has anyone ordered a set of the new weathertech 3D liners? Have texture more like huskies (rubber) and cover well. I had husky weatherbeater in my 2016 4runner and wasn't impressed with winter performance keeping melted snow off carpet. I want the weathertech coverage that goes completely under rear seat as well as sides for kids getting in and out
