    Um… that I don’t know. I actually have never seen what the G1 ones looked like. Where do yours tie into the truck? And do the LED strips have 2 leads or 1 on them?

    Not a thing aside from we ship for free, don't charge sales tax (at least for now), and are here supporting the community on the regular. Should you buy direct from VLEDS you're getting the same product :thumbsup:

    Is there a way to "tap" these for puddle lights? I think the VLEDs kits allow an extra "tap" to add puddle lights to the footwell kits?

    Are you attempting to tap the footwell lights directly, or just share the same signal with them to trigger puddle lights that are powered separately? You're talking about side-mirror or under-door mounted puddle lights, correct?

    Did VLEDS ever get back to you on this? I purchased my kit during their BF sale in November and didn't get the dimmer. I'm about to message them now seeing if they would be willing to ship a module for free to a long time customer!

    Yeah. I got one of the last kits without dimmers. Now it seems they only offer kits with dimmers at a higher cost, of course. They offered me a dimmer for $30. I passed on it

    By the way, I blew 3 fuses before I pulled the plastic off the part that plugs into the footwell bulb socket and saw that too much solder was applied to each wire. The solder was touching and creating a short.

    I told Vleds about it just as an FYI and they sent me a new plug.

    Yes, I was thinking I could use the same "tap" from the parking brake light to trigger both puddle lights and footwell lights. I tested the parking brake bulb, which is burned out, & got full time 12V on one side & no power on the other (thinking that's ground?). Now I'm confused if the parking brake light will trigger either correctly?
