I'm wanting my fog lights on with the high beams. There has to be a simple mod for this. I searched and found a multitude of threads with different results. I had a 17 Silverado that was a simple jumper wire that made it happen

I only want them on with the low/high beams. Not with the DRLs or any other time and for them to be off whenever the lights are off. Just wanting some extra lights for night driving on rural roads and don't want to pay the $150 for a "kit"

    Truck is a 2021 Limited

I have the jumper wire from the fuse box and it grounds out to the body under the hood which makes them come on when you turn the lights on. The only thing is that the fog light switch no longer works and anytime you turn the headlights on, the fog lights will be on. Hasn't been an issue for me.

Here's what I followed and haven't had an issue for almost two years now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kfzNGUAs-A

This is how my other truck was and exactly what I'm looking at doing. Thanks!

Does anyone know if this will work on a 2021?

I took the fog light relay out and made a jumper wire to connect directly to the output of the low beam relay. Now anytime lows are on, fogs are on. And they stay on when high beams are on. Worked on my 2018, don't see why it would be different for a 2021.

Would you have a drawing or pics of where you connected the wires for this.

I'm not sure if I'm following this correctly. In the video, he bent the ground tab and ran a jumper from it but you're saying you connected to the low beam output?

    Any pictures or diagrams?

    2018+ changed the wiring
Using the “jumper wire” tricks from previous years will make the fog lights directly powered by the battery rather than through ignition/ECU logic. Powering them directly off of another circuit (i.e. low beams) not intended for them can overload the other circuit.

There’s several threads already about it. The cleanest route is the bright box fogster
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/rainmans-2021-lunar-rock-trd-pro-build.77317/page-26#post-3136206

It is a DP relay that draws off the high beam circuit to trigger the relay to power the fogs from a new separate circuit when the high beans turn on.

You might want to also check out the wiring diagram thread in my signature and do some direct research to understand the differences. 2018+ have a LOT of electrical changes that make wiring “how tos” for 2017-older vehicles invalid

Not to mention that fogs with high beams is actually illegal in most if not all states.

I did the de-pinning and jumper wire on the harness under the dash to get mine to be on with high beams as well as on at any setting as well. The switch still works to.
