I’ve been trying to hunt one of those down, but they’re always gone at junkyards

Hope some of you are still following this thread...
I have a 2003, that came without fog lamps (empty plastic holes in the bumper) but the wiring harness seems to be there. I've ordered the lamp pods, I've ordered the relay ... but that switch. Ouch. To replace the turn signal stalk with the version that has the fog lamp switch will cost $285 on Amazon. Not worth it to me. I'd be happy to just have the fog lamps on whenever the low beams are on.

Any ideas on how I could wire this up, with no fog lamp switch?

I want to install foglights also on my 2001. I have the spots on the dash for the switch. Did a quick search and it looks like that switch is now ~$60. Best price I have found on the lights with brackets is ~$100 and I may need a relay.

Keep an eye on CL and FB - I found a guy getting ready to junk one that I took the relay and switch out of it.

He pulled the bumper and destroyed the fog light mounts - kind of wished he waited.

OK, thanks. This is probably what I'll try, if I can't find a used switch.

I’ve been looking for that oval switch forever. I have a 2002 AC. The push button switch has been discontinued from Toyota. I ordered one from a Toyota dealer and they cancelled my order a day later.
Anyone know of a work around or if I can cut my OEM wiring harness and wire up an aftermarket switch to work with the existing wires. I already have the fogs mounted in the steel bumper just no button to turn them on. Thanks

Best bet is probably to hit some junkyards, honestly.

Just wire up a three way switch. Little dremel work and it looks good.

The Chinesium fogs I went with this last time included a wiring harness and an oval switch for the dash. I wired it up on my bench when I received the parts and the switch is lit but its very dim. Meh. As far as the fogs themselves, I hate the way the bulb is held on with the 3 screws non sense. I bought mini projector bulbs to put in them but because of how the bulb is clocked when sitting in the bowl, the bulbs were way out of whack. I then said effit, and baked them open and threw some Chinesium bi-led projectors in them but I haven't messed with them since.
