    I bypassed it by selling my Tundra and buying a Land Cruiser.

    Nobody has come up with a way to do that. At least that I'm aware of.

    I'd prefer the engine would continue to run, but I don't find it all that troubling to re-start the engine when I get in.

    Just defeats the purpose of remote Start. My wife’s suv starts and stays on when you get in. You just have to hold the brake with the key inside to bypass the security guard and take off.

    It doesn't defeat the purpose for me. My truck still heats up, or cools down, before I hop in, which is the purpose for me. The restart is an unnecessary step, but it just doesn't annoy me like it does some here.
