Thanks haha! Hmmm, didn’t know that lol. It came with those rims/wheels! :) That’s why I got almost everything I wanted, just want to change out the chrome on the front with black lol!

It’s my parents boat haha. So, not mine, but I get to enjoy it lol! Might be mine one day?! Who knows lol.

Yes, those wheels are very rare to see. You got lucky with them haha. Yes I agree...dechrome all the way. I even blacked out my interior. Too much silver inside these trucks lol. You never know...you might get that boat one day. :)

I love St Pete!! I’ve lived here all my life! We call it the biggest small town ahah! Don’t really want to ever live anywhere else. But, the only thing I can say I don’t like about it is it’s gotten SO expensive! :(

The older I get though, the more I like the idea of living like right outside Tampa…kinda near lower Hillsborough wilderness preserve, because it’s right near big cities so you have all you need, but, you can also have a little land out there…maybe a cow or something, who knows lol?! :p

    Thank you..:hattip:

Momma had me drive the "coastal route" till the 275 split when we left...Clearwater is way too busy but Dunedin and Indians Rock beach are not so bad....

We LOVE the water but dam hurricanes are chasing us out of full timing in FT. Myers

Agreed, Clearwater is too busy! Yah, Dunedin and Indian Rocks Beach aren’t bad lol, a little busy also though. But, it’s beautiful, so, I get it haha!
Sorry to hear you’ve been chased out by the hurricane! :(

    Hello all,

There's a Tundra I'm considering purchasing in Bradenton from an independent shop that seems very reputable. They have a mechanic shop on site that has inspected the truck, and actually serviced the vehicle, which is a good sign. They allow third-party PPIs on-site, but don't allow the vehicle to be driven to a third party site for a PPI (eg a dealership or different shop). Wondering if anyone on here who's very familiar with Tundras would help with a PPI on-site. Happy to compensate you for your time :)

    TIA!

Hi, I haven't checked in in a while since around Ian... Things are coming back here in the Cape... Some of the older homes and neighborhoods took a horrendous beating. I decided to replace my roof back in January and had no roof damage... Just some vinyl fence and some landscape mess... Hope y'all are doing good. If you live in Florida get a metal roof...They cost 2x as much as shingles but are well worth it as mine survived a Cat4 and so did 3 others in my neighborhood. All of the traditional shingle roof got tore up.

Did you notice any energy efficiency after switching to a metal roof?

Yes the attic is cooler, but the efficiancy savings has been eaten up by the rate increases. The metal is reflective and the underlayment is insulating.

It is a nice system 20220120_110831.jpg

It's actually 24 ga steel and the way they fold it and make the locking seams makes it all very rigid. Then their is a layer of insulating underlayment that takes the place of the good ol tar paper which is has an adhesive that sticks to the plywood...there is no gap between the metal panels and the roof which would make the old tin roof acoustics. You can look it up it's called a 24ga standing seam metal roof system with no exposed fasteners. They are said to last 50-60 years and are very durable during hurricanes. Mine made it through 140 mph winds withut an issue. If you take into consideration that in FL insurance companies will tell you need to replace your shingle roof at 15 years of age or risk little or no payout for your loss or - your deductible, getting a roof that could withstand 140 MPH makes sense. Plus it knocks hundreds off of your Hurricane coverage premium. I think metal roofs should be mandated within 20 miles of the coast.

Hello from North Tampa (Lutz, Land O Lakes, carrollwood) area…

1: I like to go to citrus WMA.
2: I like to drive over things.
3: I think Florida should break free from the chains of the group “South East US” tyrannical grips and become its own sub, which should encourage more participation and group events.
4: If there is mudding or trails closer than Citrus WMA lmk please so I can go explore
5: RC trucks, mini bikes, scooters, atv, almost anything with wheels makes me happy and I’m interested in :hattip:
