FJ Cruiser questions and or issues ask here

I have order thru @BXbuilt in instagram. They take a few weeks but you order to you liking many options.

 

I should be receiving mine next weekend. It does take them a while to make. So if you are looking for something quick thats not the way to go.

 

Yeah, quick isn't the problem. Please post when you install since I will want to know how they look. Thanks! My only concern with retrofits are the quality.

Look at there Instagram looks like good quality.

 

Mine don't have the white shrout. It will be black with the FJ etch on it and amber and also white halos.

 

Need the pics when they show up. 1st I have seen of them.

 

Will post them ASAP. Also expecting the Rszfab rear arms and panhard bar. In powder coated red. Should be here by the end of this month. Also order the front lower control arm skid from RCi this week with the discount

 

I have a buddy that put these in his FJ. They are not very bright you could barely see your headlights are on at night

 

Yeah that was my concern when buying for cheap price. These i order were not cheap with all the items added almost 800.00 right now he has good deals going on his Instagram. I bought cheap headlights for the Tundra which were the spyder I believe the light out put was terrible so I upgraded the lights to HID and made a huge difference. Because LED will not have good light output on Projectors.

 

Also the spyder headlight clear or film was peeling after exactly 1 yr. And spyder warranty is only one year and they would not take care of the issue. But for the 250.00 I spent I guess what is expected

 

My concern as well. I almost pulled the trigger on these but didn't like the reviews.

 

When I chat with the Instagram @Bxbuilt he responds real quick and very informative.

Sooo.... I found this guy who added this. I was thinking about doing the same if my options are limited to retrofits.

Ah, sorry. A member retrofitted 7" rounds normally for motorcycles into the headlight housing.

 

I wonder how hard it would be do to having different bracket. I was thjnk the FJ were just considered 7 inch round and would be a simple swap but they are not. What the process do make them fit

 

His post does show that he had to buy a bracket to make them fit after he removed the chrome housing.

 

RCI front lower control arm skids showed up today. Should be installed maybe this weekend

Thank you.. Just waiting for the Reszfab arms for the rear and panhard bar. As well as the Custome headlights. Should all arrive next week.

 

I ordered Reszfab lower rear links back in January 2020, still haven't received yet. I ordered Metaltech rear links instead, got it 3days after I placed the order. My friend is buying the Reszfab one when I receive them (hopefully soon)
