Yup. I had a feeling it would be back wired plugs. Those are the devil. What we do now is make joints on all 3 wires and hook the plug to the pigtails. Eliminates the issue all together. Plus code says you can't use a device as a feed thru.

I sense a new hand model job: eliminate all back wired plugs in the PHM residence.

Also, what's up with the black on the wall? Little zzt zzt action?
    That's a shadow, nevermind.

Ye. Saw this job coming for a while. Thinks I Vibed the wires when I did my Windows last 2 weeks ago. Couple windows were in tight and the Sawzall put some rattles on this wall to tip it over the edge. Today I replaced 4 total and saved about $450 in Service Fees.

Pulled the disconnect on the outside AC and warshed the coils ($199) and NoAloxed the Box Prongs and Fuses. Squirted off the house since the two day Monsoon just pulled away ($199). Glad my boss gave me the day off!

Damn, if they woulda charged $450 that's robbery.
    1 1/2 hours labor @70 105
    4 receptacles @1.50 6
    Tax @0.0825 .50
    Total: $106.50

    That's what I would charge.

I didn’t want to derail that thread.
When I used to work at McDowells, their ice cream machines were pretty fancy and the company was proud of them, you had to use Taylor specific HP lube(High Performance)
And everyone always joked around about it, but I was at a training conference in Rockford Illinois, and this guy told us that he had to use it in a pinch one time, and it worked pretty well. But I still have a few tubes because it’s food safe so I can use it for plumbing grease or whatever else I need it for

My juvenile side often gets the better of me.

On home stuff like aerators/shower heads I use a dab of vaseline on the o-rings/washers though I have no idea if that's acceptable from a plumbers point of view.

My Home AC is kicking like winter since the Compressor Clean Up today. Hosed off the coils from the inside and cleaned out the debris (not much). I think the reverse wash out kicked it up a notch.

Good call with the ol reverse action, it’s got to come out from the direction it came!
We have units at work with 2 separate coils stacked or sandwiched together, and we have no way of getting between the two, so most of them are “compacted” with dirt and debris(said in a English accent) and then no air flow and lots of issues result.
Replacing old line set insulation is a good idea too; closed cell foam sealed at all joints, and then covered or painted with roof coating or they sell a special paint for it.

Yeah. @Sirfive liked it right after I put it up last night too, but looks like he got scared and removed it. I’m wondering if the Larp Action Committee got him?

Counted 17 more recepts to do in the house. Most have already been replaced in remodels. Mostly the bedrooms are left to do. Should be able to knock it out in an easy day project.
