Well, never thought Id be the owner of a Toyota, but here I am. Since I've always been a Ford guy I just planned on always having a ford. Enjoyed the two trucks I had before this, but Im glad to own this yota now. I know it's always more reliable than a ford (it's ok, now yall can like me). The past few years I drove a 4 door 8ft bed lifted f250 on 37s with the 6.0 diesel in it..with the combo of financial issues and continuous breaking of the truck it was a no brainer she had to go. Injectors, tie rod ends, U joints, tires, etc was killing me. Meanwhile this ole tundra that used to be my pawpaw's just sat in my driveway with 70k miles, beat all to heck from everything he ran into with it. But the motor was good. So anways, sold the 250 yesterday and now the tundra is my ride. It's silver, 2wd, with the v6 and more dents than a golf ball lol. When I get done with it, it will be a very pretty truck. Maaco has quoted me $1700 to paint it black and knock dents out. Also gonna paint the Mirrors and rear bumper. Gonna throw some BBS wheels on it, tint the windows and just have a clean little street truck that gets 23mpg hwy. also gonna put the k&n intake on it, these little 4.0s sound nasty with that. So from Ford to Toyota, here I am.
