Yes. It's a 4WD. I just dropped the top of the sheet with the VIN portion. I'm not sure you can get the TRD Off-Road package with MTS, Crawl Control, locking rear diff etc. on a 2WD but I might be wrong.

I didn't think you could. LOL. But I thought it was weird that the sheet didn't mention 4WD anywhere. Makes sense now. Thanks very much! I think I'm getting very close to figuring out my ideal build. Our models, packages and options are different up here in Canada.

Thanks very much. I'm guessing the OR package adds some weight with the skids, etc., But this does look inline with other DC 4x4s I have seen.

I put a deposit down on the crewmax version of your truck, with almost identical options.

Do you have the manual 4-way seats up front? If so, how tall are you and how is the visibility while driving? I ask because I’m 5’10” and don’t know if its going to be a problem not having any height adjustment on the driver seat.

Here's what I wrote in another thread regarding my seat experience:

I'm 6' 1" so the seat doesn't bother me. I have good driving position, etc. I commute about 45 mins each way 5x a week and the seat comfort hasn't bothered me since taking delivery a week ago. Coming from "basic" seats previously in my old Taco & 4Runner, the discomfort level of the manual seat in the SR & SR5 is (in my opinion) kinda being blown out of proportions. If you're stepping down from a luxury-trim truck, then I guess I can see the argument.

On a side note: My wife is 5' 4" and she's driven the truck once. She just moved the seat all forward 90% of the way and lowered the steering wheel. She was fine with it, she said.

Nope. I guess with people complaining about how little heat it gives...I'm kinda glad I didn't opt for that.

My salesman claimed that it only heats from the 10 & 2 o'clock down to the 4 & 8 o'clock area. It's not that warm for sure but better than what I had.

Favor from a new 22 owner…I want/need two bed measurements to have a motorcycle ramp/lift constructed for a trip cross country. The lead time is pretty long so if I could get two measurements would be very appreciative!:

    - cab wall to end of bed right to the edge (on Toyo website but just to confirm)

    - cab wall in bed to edge when tail gate is down.

Well, I'm going to repeat the previous request for pics. Duplicate content be damned. :worthless:

I like your truck based on specs/packages @KroppDuster and I'd love to see some more of the interior. Especially the smaller screen and how it looks in proportion to the dash and center console stack, too. I personally would want the smaller screen if I were going for the Gen 3.

Why does Toyota do that (or really not do that)? To me, besides the safety aspect of not having fuel stolen or sabatoged (remember the adding sugar to unlocked tanks days?), the vehicle just looks better without the dumb finger flap on the gas lid.

Can't imagine they are saving that much money to skimp out like that. All my Toyotas from the 90s and 00s have them....

You think the people of today wouldn't bitch and complain that they had to use a key to unlock their tanks? Go look at the lamenting and gnashing of teeth over the fact that they have to push a button after they remote started their truck. There are people who won't consider buying a lower trim of a vehicle or an "outdated" one that uses an actual key for the ignition.

My Tacomas haven't had locking gas caps and as fir siphoning the gas…not sure you can do that on modern vehicles.

Here are some interior pics. I just snapped a few after I parked this morning. I would say, "excuse the messy truck" but in reality...this isn't messy at all to me. lol.

8" Screen in proportion to the dash:

Full pic of the center stack:

My driving position at 6' 1":
    upload_2022-3-25_9-27-59.jpg

Rear seat legroom with the front seat in my driving position.
Note: There is just about 7" of legroom between the back of my seat & and the front of the rear seat. I didn't have a tape measure on my so I used the ruler on my Leatherman.

    Nice!

I really really prefer the look of the smaller HU. It looks like it was designed to go there, and the big one just looks like a tacky afterthought.

I didn't realize how vertical the upper passenger side of the dash looks. Is that really how it is, or is a trick of the camera angles?

The rear seat pic there would definitely push me toward a CrewMax, but I already drive one so that's not really a surprise.

    Thank you for sharing these!

I'm glad I am not the only one that thinks the larger display looks goofy. I mean if I get a Tundra it will likely have the big display because it comes along with many other features, but it seems to me that it was just an afterthought and they didn't take the time to design a dash in which it could be integrated properly. Like they ran out of time and maybe patience? I dunno. But I have never seen a more tacked on looking display.

It's a Toyota thing. Look at any of their other vehicles with large displays and they look the same. I don't mind if the screen "floats" but there's a difference between it looking intentional and looking like an after thought. See pics for examples.

I like the idea of a crew max with a 6.5 bed...not ready for an upgrade anytime soon. Would love to see diesel option they are putting in the land cruisers overseas.

my 2 cents on the larger head unit is that the only thing it does is make the font size bigger/space the things on the screen farther apart making it somewhat of an inconvenience to go press something on the right side while driving. having a bigger screen seems cool but doesnt serve a better purpose

I think toyota shoulda went with 10" and 12" rather than 8" and 14"respectively. seems better suited on the 22 in hindsight
