SR5 access cab 4wd purchased new March 2000. It has admirably served so many purposes... including puppy drivers ed.

238K. Last long trip was October from True NorCal to the Long Beach Grand Prix and back on the picturesque I-5, about 2200 miles total.

Only saying this as a fellow dog lover: That's cute as hell, but the first time I heard an ER doc talking about having to pick a person's pet out of their chest piece by piece because their airbag deployed is the last time I ever let my animal anywhere near my lap in the truck. But seriously, we need more pics of that pup, freaking adorable.

I understanding and agree. That said, me and Coondog do like we do. No doggie safety seat or harnesses. She's now too big to ride in my lap in the truck. Most of the time she's hanging out the passenger side window around town. I'm sure other drivers are horrified, but it's how we roll.

Getting back to the Tundra and mileage... Toyota has the most reliable seatbelt dashboard bulbs in the business. My seatbelt light has been blinking for over 20 years and a quarter million miles.

    Thanks for the kind words.

It's funny. I've yet to see a news article or anyone boasting their 5.7L V8 has even come close to a million miles while at least 2-3 of the 4.7L V8s have made it already. :monocle:

I would think after 15 years a 2007 5.7L V8 Tundra has made it. What's up with that?

Is there a clock in the computer that keeps track of run time? Cause i know grandpa would sit in the truck doing crossword puzzles while grandma was shopping.

Engine hours? Most likely. Isn't that how Honda times its maintenance lights or do they do it by mileage? (I don't own one)

I love the 4.7 but I wouldn't want a truck as big as that with anything but the 5.7L.
