First dipping: I almost took it off.

    My first dipping. I always liked red accents. So finally got around dipping the front grille emblem red. I hated it. The red stood out like a sore thumb. I almost took the dip off . . . thenDip dis.jpg

    I decided to dip some more. This other red sort of made the emblem blend in better, I think. I like the set-up now.

    I think you are right. Having done the first dipping, the temptation to go wild with it. I think right now it has good balance.
