    alpine loop on a saturday? in july? sliders or no sliders, you are much braver than i. it's gotten to be total nonsense up there. that being said, i could totally be tempted for some trips with a summit or two.

    also, for future reference, next time you're cruising down 285 and need a sandwich, brown dog coffee in buena vista (or salida) is worth it. we stop at the one in bv every time we go to telluride. both directions.
