I've been researching on here since I bought my truck in January. I found a 2016 MGM CM Tundra with only 1980 miles! Still smelled like a new truck without the "new" depreciation hit :)

My birthday is 9/6 so I figured it was time to splurge and join the cool kids. I ended up buying:
    • Bilstein 6112's (2.5" setting)
    • Toytec Boss Rear Shocks
    • Toytec Shackles (middle hole) - thinking about raising it to the top hole
    • Method NV ET25
    • Nitto Ridge Grappler - 295/70/18r
Install the suspension with my dad last Saturday. The front was sort of tough but everything went on smoothly once we had it figured out. Pictures below of the before and after.

The guys at the tire shop said everything aligned fine. The truck seems to drive good and doesn't pull. Whats your opinion of the numbers? I just dont want any premature wearing obviously.

Also wanted to share my daily driver. Absolutely love this truck! Its a 1994 Toyota DLX with 131k when I bought it. The little 22re 4 cylinder isn't anything to brag about with power but is great for driving back and forth to work. Aside from maintenance items all it needed was some wheels.

Truck looks great! Did you leave the rear at factory height and just do the 6112s at 2.5" up front? Happy Birthday!

    Thanks guys!!

So with my stock suspension I felt like the truck rode great but was a little squishy. I wouldn't go as far to say it rode like a boat but it had that small element to it. Now the truck feels super secure to the ground. The ride is firm but doesn't jar you when you hit a bump. I'm really happy with the ride. Its definitely a huge difference.

Yes it rubbed the front fender liner when locked at full reverse. I used the thread below and cut the blue line and drilled a new hole and it fixed the rubbing entirely. Took about 30-45 minutes total.

    WHERE TO TRIM

I went with Toyotec shackles in the rear at the 1"( middle hole) Im debating on going with the 1.5"

Yes on rubbing but easily fixed with the link above. The weels are 18x9 ET25.

It probably sticks out somewhere between 1-2". I didn't want it to look super aggressive. The picture below is a good reference.

Thanks! Looks like maybe an inch where the side wall meets the width, I have oem over fender. Where I live it has to pass recon and the tire can’t pass where I mentioned. Appreciate your help! Looks like I may be copying your build
