@VWTim sorry it was @4firemandan that ran water wetter on the Maggie. It may be up on his build page but he mentioned it in PMs. Not sure how long he ran it so can't say it is safe on the Maggie. Can always email/call the blower company to verify.

There was a post about the bricks having a coolant leaks on the Harrops. Seems like it was traced back to the wrong coolant being corrosive or an issue with dissimilar metals. I'm sure someone will chime in to correct me.

For the intake you ordered, any stock lower airbox from a 14-21 would work. The 07-13 lower airbox is only needed for 07-13 trucks (obviously) or the larger supercharger specific intakes.

So it begins...just got a call from National Speed questioning the Maggy sc box not working this does not give me a warm fuzzy if an air box stumps them what are they going to do about welding a bung and hooking up my psb1. They keep pushing the pro speed box. Not confident right now...Anybody with a Maggie sc box hooked to a Harrop send me pictures 540 420 9131 so I can forward them to National Speed thanks

You can save this picture of mine to your phone and send it. They’re probably just struggling to get the Harrop rubber boot over the airbox lid but it can be done if you don’t have sissy hands. https://www.tundras.com/threads/finally-got-the-ok-for-a-supercharger.128824/page-5#post-3290138

Thanks Silver just sent it to them...I assured them that it has been done but the tube would be a B###h to get on. What was your solution for this

Brute force and frustration with a big flathead screwdriver did it for me. Someone else had a good idea of putting the end of the tube in boiling water to make it more pliable, I forget who it was but I like that idea. Someone else shared a video of shoving a softball in the end and warming the rubber up with a heat gun to soften it up a bit.

This really isn't bad advice at all; just make sure you use water-based lube otherwise the silicone w/cause the rubber to deteriorate

Are there connections on the boot? If not they can probably order a coupler for it. Can't imagine it will be that difficult for them to figure out.

Yes I’m pretty sure. Not sure the Harrop boot would fit over the RCF TB, it would make changing the filter hard. At this point I’d remove the boot from the TB to remove the lid and change the filter since there is no way I’m removing the boot from the Maggie airbox. If it’s a tight fit at both ends then I’d be screwed. I’d probably piece something together like you did for the intake tube if I got an RCF TB.

I was looking at reducers on the intake hoses site to see what was available. Hopefully the shop figures out how to fit the hose.

To concur with Silver, they need non-sissy hands to get the coupler on the Maggie. I was inventing some cuss words wrestling that thing on. Finally got it with no heat or lube though.

Next filter change, I might try to take it off the truck and heat and stretch it around something larger.

Maybe being 118 helped when I did the SCOL boot on the RC-F TB but it was not that hard.

Like I said before this does not give any new customer confidence when you can't or won't figure something as simple as a air box. Funny I haven't gotten a response after I sent the picture that Silver17 shows., he keeps telling me about the pro speed box for 650.00 and I still don't have a shipping update on the box from SCOL...time will tell....on a positive note I did get the oil changed, tires rotated, trans drained and refilled ,cat plates removed.

Congratulations on the Supercharger, I was also told they had to order the top for the larger intake, good luck with your installation.

I wonder if it’s possible for you guys to get this Harrop discount applied to your previous purchase. When I bought mine I got it $500 off as well.
