    Just hit the entire panel. Once the trim is off, the entire piece can be removed from the truck with a few clips. I cleaned with DA, let it dry, and sprayed the entire piece. Dried for an hour or so and reinstalled. My first attempt lasted over a year before it needed a touch up. I recently took it back apart and gave it another clean and respray. Looks brand new again. Still on the first can of matte finish.
