Your probably right. I looked them up on carparts.com and they’re called “cool vue”. I had them for about 2 years. Other people have called them GM style mirrors. Really don’t matter to me. I like them. Even more so when I pull the camper.

Yeah absolutely, regardless you got some solid tow mirrors. I really like mine!

I upgraded to the trail ridge towing mirrors with the smoked out turn signals and running lights. I love them so far.

Does anyone want to part company with their stock mirrors? I'm looking for set of black take off mirrors so I can give them a try on my SR.
Double bonus if you are located in the Columbus, OH area.

My stock mirrors are available but I have no idea what the shipping cost would be or if they would survive the trip.

Just wanted to share my experience with the mirrors off etrailer, they look the same as the "OEM" mirrors folks post in this thread. I find them unusable. I like the design, I don't mind the dumbo look at all because I've lived with strap-on mirrors my whole towing life on SUVs, and I'd give up all sense of vanity to not have to deal with that. I went for a drive and realized that for some bizarre reason, the passenger side mirror is not convex! In fact, mine seems to be slightly concave as things are slightly stretched horizontally. I don't know if it's just these mirrors or other people who buy these don't use their mirrors but I think they're dangerous. "Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear" isn't just for the fun of it, the further you sit from the mirror, the smaller the effective aperture.

With these you basically can't see anyone beside you unless they're in one exact spot. I ended up driving home in traffic using the little mirror. The sad thing is that I actually like everything else about the mirrors and I'm willing to lose the powerfolding. But why in the world they couldn't make these convex on the passenger side is beyond me. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that it's an NHTSA violation.

Do any of you have a set of these that has a proper passenger side mirror? If so, could you post a pic with the view out of it? All the photos in this thread are from the driver's. I just spent $100 to send these back to etrailer, I'd buy a different set but this time I want to know that they're properly designed.

Nope, that how every single tow mirror is designed - flat upper and very convex lower. That's the same for Toyota, GM, Ford, and Ram. I personally didn't like the Toyota ones only because the lower convex mirror is so thin you can't see both the rear tire and the 2 lanes beside you. The upper mirror is pretty much just to see behind me, convex is for the blind spot.

I'll post one more time in here just for everyone to hear another happy guy - Used mine to tow home a new to me camper, had the mirrors extended out fully, and there was no noticeable shaking. Could see fine through them the whole time; highway, backroads, bumpy roads, etc.

Love them. But just need to do the wiring for running lights on them.. Right now I only have blinkers.
