I have the fold button, traded my non fold oem tow mirrors for the normal limited ones that my truck came with but the original owner did not include.

I put on circular mirrors and forget to extend the tows now. Bottom mirrors are great to see curbs. Away from my truck, don’t have a closeup atm.

Do the Toyota official tow mirrors have the magnification on the passenger mirror? I have seen people say the passenger mirrors have a magnification to them that makes them hard to use on the passenger side.

I don't think that it's bad, but the only other tow mirrors I have used are the Mckesh ones. Very little shaking and definitely doesn't impact their usefulness for me.

I ordered the topgear and they ended up not even sending it. I got mine from 1aauto had to switch couple wires. My friend got the boost auto and they don’t make the harness till I order. Everything was plug n play but they do cost more at boost.

Ordered my truck with them. I wish they were power folding but other than that I like them.

This is what I’m looking for. Tinted, manual fold, black(hate chrome), with the amber running lights on front and white on the back. Couldn’t find any, found this thread and I see it’s out of stock :(. Does anyone have any other options like this?

Many brands on ebay or Amazon but not all are reputable. If you are willing to spend a little more (still less than OEM) check out boostautoparts.com. I have a few coworkers who have bought from them and they have 0 issues.

looks like $567 if I go with high output spots. Any feedback on those vs low? When do those lights come on?

Do not buy from topgearauto. They are a complete scam. I had them saved for months and was going to buy from them but did a little digging for reviews. Most don't even receive a product even though they charge you instantly, then it's a nightmare to get a refund if you even can. As @Kanekz said, he didn't get his. Just save yourself the hassle and don't buy from topgearauto

So you have to wire the reverse light up, they have a pretty good video that details what you have to do. To my understanding, per their instructions it comes on when you put your truck in reverse.
If your windows are tinted, go high output, if not tinted it will be a bit bright in the backseat when they come on.

Honestly, if you are willing to pay a little more (add $300) it's almost easier to wire the power fold than the reverse light. Since you will already have to remove a few trim pieces to run the wiring for the reverse light, its maybe another 30 minutes to wire the power fold. I couldn't find anywhere that would add power fold for me and I haven't done much work on vehicles, their video makes it pretty doable and it's more affordable for you to do it then take it somewhere. Just some food for thought.

    Good luck!

Yes sir! I can't be the only one. I did get mine to understand the benefit of having the powerfold and that this is actually a cost effective solution to add that feature.

I’ve been doing some reading - I will probably order these and I may wire the spots up to the bed light if possible. That way I can have them on when not reversing if I want, or could turn them on while reversing too.

Super jealous! I was hoping to have ordered mine by now but other priorities in life happened and Covid hasn't helped. Sorry you spent more, but I think you'll be really happy with the product.

I recently installed the OEM tow mirrors. They take some getting used to but they do not shake. I bought them new, from a meme bet that sold his truck before he installed them, for $300 and I’m happy with the purchase.
