It's been levis for me forever and probably will continue to be for the foreseeable future. In the past, I had a couple pair of Luck brand that I loved, but just couldn't see replacing them at the price when they wore out. The wife bought me some she found at Sam's Club for Christmas this year, brand called Axel they were like $17 a pair. They offer standard denim, but also a stretch denim that is a small percentage spandex. They aren't necessarily my style, but my god are they comfortable. They look and feel like normal denim, but when you bend and move, they don't bind up and stop you, so I will continue to wear them and see how they hold up.

Re: designs on the back pockets

Admittedly, Buckle does a little extra stitching on the pockets in contrasting thread, however it's not bedazzled and they line the designs on the inside of the pockets with rubber which helps keep your wallet from slipping out

Also I cannot tell you how often the ladies compliment my jeans on dates etc

There's a fine line between gaudy and not here and I think Buckle does a really good job not crossing that line

I have three pair of lucky jeans that I have had for 10-12 years and they are great . I also have some Levi's that might be 15-20 years old. In the last few years I have worn Duluth jeans for every day and they are beasts.

I wear Levi, Lucky, and have a few pair of Arizona jeans as well.

I have tried the Kohls brands but they all seem to fall apart quickly. It's a shame because I like the fit of some of their cargo shorts but the ass literally falls out on day 3 or 4... same goes for Buckle - they look great but disintigrate when you need them most..

I have more Levis than anything else. I like the fit on the 505 and 501 the best. The 541s are terrible!
Levis are about $80 but they will last for a decade.

I picked up a pair of Wranglers a few months ago on a whim and really like them. Most of my other jeans are Old Navy. I don't know the name of the style but they stretch a little bit so if you squat down or stretch you still have a good amount of flex in them and they don't bind you up. They're so comfortable I've looked for another pair in that same style but haven't had any luck yet. It's kind of ironic that I bought them at my choice but when I was a kid I had to wear them because we couldn't afford anything else ... lol. It's funny how your perspective changes as you age.

I'm with you brother! Designs, little flaps on the back pockets and white stitching, they look like my wife's jeans. I'll stick with my Levi's, Dickies and Carhartts.

The stretchy American Eagle jeans are the most comfortable ones I have ever worn! The buy one get one half off deal seems to be very frequent. The only problem is that I am the only 39 year old shopping for himself at the store. :(

I’m a Lucky fan as well - this month. You have to be careful though because sometimes the fit can be a bit off.

I rock Levi’s, Calvin Klein’s, and Ralph Lauren Polo’s too, but it’s always about the fit.

I’m 6’3 270 and wear 42x33 so sometimes I have to have jeans tailored to fit just right.

For working around the house etc. I have a pair of Old Navy jeans that are all of 15 years old and have paint, glue, caulk, and who knows what stuck to them lol.

Well if you have big thighs and a butt from working out they fit great. My quads dont fit in most jeans.

5.11 flex jeans are the greatest invention in men’s jeans in years. I am not a “tacticool” guy at all and actually intentionally do not dress like that but these jeans are magical. Several styles to choose from. Get one pair. Thank me later. 5.11 has some young hipster making their new designs which are getting away from “I work at Blackwater” circa 2004 cargo pant vest guy.
I have every color of the new jean and I don’t even touch my old normal denim. Plus you can easily execute JCVD/ Chuck Norris kicks and splits much easier. Or squat 405 for reps in them at the gym. Confirmed.

    So a few years ago..
I had a business meeting with the heads of a few different construction companies on our new joint venture construction site.
We have done business together in the past. .. I know all of them but not well.

so I show up just a tad bit late..

& this younger jerk-off kind of guy ..wearing jeans with white stitched back pockets.. thinking he could make a name for him self says..

"Glad you could make it Old Man"

    My Reply to him was....

"I may be old & a bit late but, I'm not the one here on a construction site wearing girl pants."

needless to say everyone at this meeting busted up laughing at the dumbass.

Hiking, hunting, fishing, working in and around the house. Being active...?

It's not just the rear, Buckle and Kohls pants bust out in the knees as well.
