Anyone aware of good distilleries that give tours and tasting near Charlotte, NC?

Currently en route - brought my wife on a work trip, would be fun to check out some of the local wares.

I had both the 15 and the 23 at Steam Bar in Vasteras, Sweden. Far less expensive there than it is here.

My colleague and I actually got the last two drams of the 23.

The nice thing about Booker's is that you can open it up w/just a bit of spring water, and it doesn't feel/taste diluted while smoothing it out a bit!

Bought a bottle of this whole on vacation. It was a shame I couldn’t finish it and had to leave a half bottle. Cheap and a great pour though.
    Color me surprised.

Word is this is going to distillery only. 8 year mgp from what know. Time to find out if this is worth stocking up on.

Found one in Statesville, NC. Bagged for transport before I had a chance to snap a picture. I know these are common for most of you but for me these are hard to find in my area. This is my first bottle.

Coming home Monday so heading to SC to hunt for rarities. Wish me luck.

The wheat almost had me, the nose wasnt great, but Ioved the flavor for a split second. The finish had some really off putting qualities though.

It was great. I do remember a distinct difference between the two but specific tasting notes I wouldn't recall at this point. I don't think it was $2000+ good, but I fully enjoyed both tastes.

This was almost 3 years ago... I was with a coworker that is very charismatic and kind of a booze expert so the bartender treated us very good and even mixed us several free drinks.

Based on my Instagram this was on or around Dec 4, 2019. ;)

Will be curious on your opinion of the Caribou Crossing. I thought it was similar to Blanton's, but tasted watered down. Think it should've been bottled at a higher proof.

I'm a little disappointed with the proof too! Figured I had never come across it so it was a must. While I was there they received and stocked 3 bottles. All of them were instantly spoken for so I'm glad I got one.

I get it. I find it pretty smooth for the $. I drink bourbon neat, so a drop or two of spring water make a big difference! Ever watch Whiskey Tribe on youtube? Entertaining and usually some good info.
