Fiance got tired of my paper towel so she upgraded me to the BT bar mat, her mom got me the new glass and the BH Toast, my son added the Kings County. I have to say the Toast version of BH covers the sins of regular BH, makes it drinkable.

So I am not too much into some of this fruity and sweet stuff other than bourbon. However, this Barton's Chocolate Bourbon Ball was really really good! It was not too sweet, not a strong chocolate taste. It was surprisingly smooth. I absolutely loved it. 4 ice cubes in a cup, poured this in straight and just sip away. It was really really good. I know nothing about it, other than my buddy got 5 bottles of it at the Barton's distillery when he was visiting on the bourbon trail.

Interesting take on the BH Toast. I'm like you and not a fan of BH at all. I live less than 10 miles from the Beam distillery but there are only a hand full of their products I like. I will give the Toast a try. Thanks for the review.

    Nice bar mat BTW.

Didn't know there was such a thing. I haven't been to the Bartons distillery in a while other than driving by on the way to New Haven. We like the BT Bourbon Cream over Irish Cream so a Chocolate version intrigues me. I guess I'll make the trip to Bardstown to pick some up. Thanks.

I know absolutely nothing about it. My buddy said you can only get it in person at the distillery supposedly..... A quick internet search shows it is available online but pretty scarce....

I've never seen it in any of the stores around here and I live in the middle of bourbon country here in KY. The distillery is only 25 minutes from me and we drive by it at least 5 times a year. I'll stop and pick some up next time I'm in that area.

Just to be clear, I didn't say it was great, just drinkable :D. I am no fan of BH, it's good bug cleaner for the headlights and not sure why but I see both of them regularly here in upstate NY.

    Flux capacitor!
Picked up a few new ones today. I’m excited I found the Angels Envy Cask Strength! The wood carved case it came in is very cool! 3377C422-AAE7-47F1-8BB1-F0AED3B63836.jpg 8E39A6A7-A40E-4E04-8B98-FBF8E863AE33.jpg
I’ve had several buddies tell me the double oak Peerless is very good. The Clyde Mays 13 year is new to me.

Being in Utah the game is a little different. If you want BT, Blantons, or ER. You better be checking the DABC app Thursday morning and be in line at opening.

Pappy is lottery only (~.023% chance last draw)

    That being said...

    Anyday drinker: buffalo trace
If I can find it: eagle rare
    Old faithful: Blantons

Liqour store was out of all that? Bullet Rye

The cool thing about DABC in Utah is there is no upcharge only scarcity. So I am reviewing at MSRP
No way in hell I'd drop a bill on Blantons.

Anything of value goes to the ABC lottery at an inflated price here in the Commonwealth.

Dumb, while I may never win the draw for pappy. If I did, I'd pay retail. Which is kind of awesome.

I think every bourbon luver enters themselves, their wife, adult kids, neighbors, etc., etc. By the time it's done, the entire population of the Commonwealth is entered for a chance to win one bottle of maybe a few cases they're allocated, and at auction pricing.

A buddy of mine in a different part of GA grabbed it for me. I've never come across it, but he was somehow able to get two this year. Didn't pay retail, but it was enough below secondary for me to bite.
