Bottles have been dropping like crazy in AZ this week. Fry's in the Phoenix area had the bottles below at 3 separate locations. People camped out overnight and it was still a shit show.

    IMG_9552.jpg

I did get luck here in Tucson this morning.

    IMG_9551.jpg

Then made a deal locally with a buddy for this bad boy. Century Grand has some of the best barrel picks around. This is an NCF from 2019

It's that time of year. Just about all of the distilleries send out their allocations around this time every year. Hardest part is getting your hands on them.

Nice snag. Phoenix was a shit show this week. I didn’t bother going to any of the fry’s lotteries or Trevor’s today. I did snag a few bottles this weekend from other places tho… most interested in trying this one tho:

Trevors looked like a mess as well. Love the store and I think they did the best they could but damn 500 people showed up for that.

Pretty much have become smitten with store picks of all my favs. Don't even like the regular editions anymore of A107, Eagle Rare, EHT SiB because they all taste flat compared to their store pick versions. For those with access...don't sleep on Wyoming Whiskey private selections. Holy cow those store picks offer incredible value.

I was able to get one more bottle of A Midwinter Nights Dram as a Christmas gift to my brother. I know he will be very excited to have it in his collection!

I found this Whistle Pig store pick blend. This is the first time I’ve seen the 375 Weller before. It was only $11.

Here's a second on the Wyoming Whiskey. Local store had a limited run and I grabbed one. It was a sleeper, way better than I expected. Don't even know which one it was as the bottle's long gone, and since I originally didn't expect it to be anything special I didn't grab a pic.

Yeah hard pass at 500 people. I know there was a lot of issues with all the Fry's lotteries as well. Not worth it to me, personally

Let us know how that OF 150 is. That's a great score! Seen it local marked up to $800 which is ridiculous. I love OF in general. Great bourbon that's overlooked

I wish the juice was as cool as the bottle. Willet has better offerings in bottles not near as nice looking. Just my opinion of course.

Totally agree. Not too great for the cost. Heard mixed reviews and figured I’d give it a try.

Stubbled into the 10yr. Have always wanted to try a bottle of this. Picked up the Woodford but not expecting much from the malted mash, master’s collection are great looking bottles though.

That 10yr Michter's is a great find and I agree on the great looking bottles of the masters collection. I have a couple myself and have not been impressed with the juice considering the price. The Double Oaked or Double Double Oak are both better in my opinion.

My family knows me well. :D

My daughter got me the OldFo gift box which I had never seen before. Neither is hard to find but I've never seen them together like that. The 1910 is usually sold by itself or with a couple of rocks glasses.

The OldFo and the BT are always good sippers and my typical go to.

The wife gave me the crystal rocks glasses and will go along with my collection. I collect them along with bourbon so I was really happy to unwrap them.
