That's a fantastic buy on the Buffalo Trace at that price. The Four Roses was $19.99 / .75L at the S&F store and a lot more at the local liquor store.

I have an extensive collection and here in NC I run across several bottles a year. But to find it everywhere with no limits at that price was crazy. Probably the only positive thing I can say about San Francisco

The full proof 1792 is pretty good.
I just picked up another bottle of 1920 Old Forrester (still my all time favorite) while on a little vacay but I gotta drink it gone before I leave so I’ve had a few heavy pours last night and tonight lol.

Oh Blanton's, my favorite and impossible to find. I still have half a bottle from the one I got for my birthday 3 years ago.

Sounds like tonight is a good time to polish it off. Seriously being half full and opened, it will start to oxidize and will completely change/ruin the flavor. Just my .02, but I dont like anything open for over 6-12 months. And certain bottles like Makes PS, I try to polish them off in 2 months. They just seem to taste off...

Knocked out a bunch of partials this month...so had to open something new this week. I really would love to try ER in a barrel proof...Patiently waiting for a BTAC ER to fall in my lap.

Ah good to know, I'll get right on it. Eagle Rare and Buffalo Trace are almost as good and a lot easier to find.

I just picked up some Buffalo Trace at the supermarket while shopping. I really enjoy it and so do a lot of folks here in my village.
Many times it's been out of stock at the grocery store but readily available at a greater price at the local liquor store.
    Buffalo Trace ~ Highly recommended.

So funny. I thought the same thing...the top half of the bottle was definitely better than the latter half.

No. Open bottles are on a high shelf in the kitchen, that never seen sunlight. And unopened bottles are stashed away in boxes.

I have yet to come across Blantons in my area. Wild Turkey & WT 101 (Buffalo Trace) are my good go-tos on a budget.

Yeah good luck. Over 4 years looking for Blantons and have come up with 3 bottles. But been happy with the ones I've found.
