Cheap sippers. Buffalo Trace, Evan Williams Single Barrel. Sazerac Rye, Eagle Rare. All those in Iowa are under 35 bucks . Buffalo trace is 25 here Williams is 27.

Look for some j.p. weisers if your up north. One of my favorites and always bring some home from Ontario. The Gretzky no.99 is great too. The black label, ice wine cask is fantastic.

Weiser's is good but also not a bourbon. I'm hard pressed to believe anything with Gretzky's name on it is affordable. I haven't seen his whisky but I've seen the prices his restaurant charges...

Not a fan of the cheap Buffalo Trace that the good local BBQ joint serves.

I picked this up after seeing it in a previous post. I love peanut butter and can and will eat it on almost anything. Bacon lettuce tomato and peanut butter sandwich, Jiffy burger, peanut butter waffles, you name it but I wasn't a huge fan of this. I had it over ice and the taste was ok but it seemed a bit syrupy. Maybe straight up or in one of their recipes is the way to go.

McKenna has a pretty strong bite to it. I bought that bottle and I've only had a couple of sips of it. To be honest, I'm glad I tried it, but I won't be in a hurry to replace it when I finish the bottle. Some people really like it, to me it's just ok.

ER10 is definitely my favorite everyday drinker but with the NC ABC system, it's not as easy to come by as it should be.

For a little while we were getting Eagle fairly regularly in VA...not so much lately.

I'm hoping to get my hands on some Stagg, Jr soon

This was recommended to me today and first glass was not bad, second one seems a little "rich" or sweet. Good sipper to have on the shelf.

I agree, however I have bought 7 bottles 4 were great 2 were so-so and 1 I can't even drink it tastes so bad. That's my only complaint with single barrels.

i learned my lesson not to listen to a store clerk for any advice. i bought a bottle of lusty claw based on store recommendation and i threw it out. never buy any bottle that is flashy or start up brand. 9/10 is a gimmick

Anyone ever heard of an Infinity Bottle?

before you polish off a bottle of burbon, you take the last couple ounces and pour them into a separate bottle, keep doing that till you have a nice blend of a bunch of different burbons.

i know, right! I've got to decide what cool bottle i'll use. Maybe i'll pick up a nice crystal decanter or something.....my backup plan is a Blantons bottle.
