Tried Weller CYPB (Weller White) recently and was very impressed. A bottle is at joke prices though unfortunately.
I like Weller 12 in old fashioneds.

I literally live within minutes of where this stuff is distilled. Can find it all over the place here. If you ever run out, let me know. Happy to try and hook you up with some more. I was even able to recently snag myself a bottle that was signed not only by Clown, but New Guy, and V man as well. Iowa sure misses out on a lot of the allocated stuff (Pappy, Weller, Blanton’s, etc) but we do get lucky with some other things. Cheers!

I have tried a ton of different ones over the years, but I always find myself circling back to TX. We have one store in town that sells it. I think they keep it in stock for me

Surprise and North Scottsdale. They were sold out in minutes. PV got a drop of Pappy and BTAC. Sold out in 30 minutes.

Damn. I saw one of the costcos got pappy but didn't know which one either. Not surprised tho - that North Scottsdale one always has a solid selection

It's crazy how much of that Costco stuff gets swooped up before anyone else get to it. Lots of people with good connections.

No kidding. I bought a bottle of Whistle Pig Homestock from the costco in N. Phoenix a couple weeks ago. Bought it late Wed night and they had tons in stock - went back Saturday AM as soon as they opened it was gone. I have a connection out in Nashville who usually helps supply me allocated stuff not found in AZ, but that connection will be going away in the next 12mo sadly... (he's moving west)

A2F58D18-C543-455A-B091-69BA362BF59E.jpg I joined this forum because of all the useful info on Tundras, but this is my new favorite thread!

I’ve got a collection I’ve been working on for years that includes some great finds
    Pappy 15
    William Larue Weller
    George T Stagg
    Weller C.Y.P.B.
    E.H. Taylor single barrel
    Blanton straight from the barrel
And a few other rare ones.

I’ve really been enjoying some store picks from a few local shops lately and was lucky enough to get a few great bottles of a Russell’s reserve barrel that is as good as anything I’ve had.

opened a Weller 12 to ring in the new year last night and always like that one!

Going up highway 65 (north) out of Arkansas, cross the Missouri state line and in a couple miles take a left on 86...at the stop light. as you go up 86 a few hundred feet, you'll see the entrance on the right. You can google it too. Top of the Rock, Arnie's Barn.... Awesome place to visit.

I just started growing my collection in December but so far my favorites are definitely the Blanton's Single Barrel, Eagle Rare 10, and Stagg Jr.

This ain't your grand dad's Jack for sure, this is some hot stuff and it even tastes great. The 1792, only had a sample at the store but that was awesome too.

    More than a few.....
Been trying all kinds of whiskey for years and years, some good, some bad, but nothing has ever come close to the all around balance of Glenlivet 12.

Its cheap, consistent, and you can find it anywhere, drink it for breakfast, lunch or dinner and it goes with any meal :)

Second the 1792. Here (Texas) at Christmas time the local liquor store sells the 1792 Full Proof and I normally get 2-3 bottles of it if I can. Good stuff. Definitely my go to bourbon. My second would be Woodford Reserve.

What’s your favorite everyday sipper that’s widely available and won’t break the bank?
I appreciate and have a few real rare ones but what can you enjoy that you always find?
I’m shocked at what’s never available anymore... I used to drink EH Taylor single barrel and there were bottles collecting dust a few years back, then McKenna 10 was my go to until it dried up and now I love four roses single barrel at $38.99.
    What’s your everyday favorite?

For whisky, it's Forty Creek but don't know of any good cheap bourbons offhand.

I’ll give it a whirl, my local big box has it.
I love a lot of bourbons but have a few scotches, Tennessee whiskeys, Irish (Redbreast!) and Canadians that can stand tall in the crowd!
