Get the Old Forester 1910 and 1920. You won’t miss OFBB one bit.

I have gone through a bottle of the 1920 prohibition style and it’s my fav bourbon to date. So maybe I should try the 1910 old fine whiskey you say?

the 1910 is also fantastic. People have also been messing with home blends of the 1910 and 1920 as the biggest detractor in my opinion on the 1910 is the proof is just a little too low

Yeah, I did appreciate the 115proof from the 1920 :). Guess I'll grab some 1910 next time I'm out and give it a swirl...Thanks!

Really? I was getting uncomfortable at $130. Guess it makes it easier to walk away even if I found it.

Gross. But on the flip side I like making money if I did find it...but on the flip side of that I like the rarity and exclusivity of having it......

Summed up the bourbon game pretty well. I've got bottles I wish I didn't know how much they'd get on secondary.

I just paid $31. for a bottle of Jefferson, and didn t like spending that much. I would rather buy goodies for the Tundra.

It’s good stuff, works well for baking too. As does crown royal maple, a couple of shots of crown maple in a horchata is great

I got a few new ones to try out.
    Jefferson Reserve Cabernet Cask Finish
McKenna Bottled in Bond 10 year
    Whistle Pig Rye 10 year
    Old Forester Statesman

I’m still looking for some more Eagle Rare. It was a great tasting bourbon and very reasonably priced.

    Just getting started
Man...glad I found this thread. Friends of guys with Tundras, good friends with guys who enjoy bourbon, GREAT friends with guys who drive Tundras AND enjoy bourbon.

We've been collecting for a bit and have about 45-50 bourbons at any given time in our cabinet.

Cheap drink: Old Forrester or Henry McKenna
Nice drink socially: Tin Cup, Makers, Buffalo Trace, Leadslingers
Ones to savor: Angels Envy, any of the Jefferson's, high end Old Forrester, Four Roses, Blade and Bow

New topic: Popular ones I DONT like...Woodford Reserve, 1792

Tried the Woodinville, it's ok. Mostly my truck was in the background. Stagg Jr. can't say enough about that, it is awesome hot though 132 proof. The BT Kosher is probably marketing but it is tasty bourbon. Rebel Yell 10 year is now one of my favorites, never tried their entry level I thought maybe it was a cheap mix due to the name I suppose, but it came recommended and glad I tried it. Legent is ok as well, it is a combined effort of Kentucky bourbon and Japanese whisky blending, wouldn't buy again.

Didn’t quite have your luck but was still pretty lucky today. Put my name in a local raffle last week and came away with this bottle today. Never had it before but super excited to try it. Nice being able to cross this bottle off my list but the hunt continues for GTS.

I've had the pleasure of dropping off a few bottles of weller's green and red to a buddy who just started his collection. For appreciation, I spent the weekend tasting 2/3 of the brands in his collection. One of those moments in life where it was a great weekend. I dont think you can go wrong with anyone of selections everyone has posted. Enjoy.whiskey.jpg

It pays to know the manager at your local liquor store. They had these two stored in the back managers office. The Garrison Brothers Cowboy bourbon is hard to find since they only made 6,768 bottles.

Do all of these master distiller guys just get hammered tasting different barrels all day? I can't imagine it's easy to take sips to evaluate and not have it add up to being passed out at your desk .
