    Haha OK, I just ran into a small group buying this bottle at that liquor store. One was in a black hoodie.

    I picked up an Old Forester 1920 - also popular and rare elsewhere, but common here.

    They had the 1920 and 1910, but I was fully stocked up. I really enjoy both.

    So question guys. I have a bottle of Eagle rare that I’m not crazy about. 9A392767-6135-4F57-A235-57D9D48C8DFA.jpg
    My buddy says the 10yr is way better and bring some over. I don’t really taste a difference and upon looking at the back of my bottle it is a 10yr but doesn’t say so on the front. Is it just an older bottle, is there different 10yr bottles, or am I just overthinking this.

    It's funny I love the viscosity of ER, but after chasing down a lot of the bourbons recommended on this thread, then going back to ER.. the flavor just doesnt really do a whole lot. Still a great value at msrp, but it's not the end all be all.
