The last week the stores have been getting some great shipments in. The EC toasted has a great taste to it! All the Weller 12 dropped today and it was an amazing haul! I picked up the 1.75 Eagle Rare at Total wine today. Best part was I got it all at retail! Today was a fun day!

Full case of W12 @ retail is a pretty impressive snag

I went to several stores to get this. They all had Weller 12 hit the shelves yesterday. A case of Weller 12 has twelve bottles. One store had three cases come in.

Need help deciding which one to crack tonight.

Found this Willet locally so I picked it up as a backup. That means I can open with impunity..

I love the EC Toasted! I would recommend that one for sure. I have the Willett but I haven’t tried it just yet.

The Breaking Bourbon review of the EJ is really good. This one might be the winner tonight.

I picked up two more EC Barrel Proofs last week.22489B77-FF31-4DEE-8B87-1770A458363C.jpg
I’m adding to my EC collection. The single barrel private barrel store pick is very good!

Willet Rye is good, but not quite a Sazerac... It definitely needs to opened up a little though (but just a couple of drops).

    Cheers!

I actually think the Sazerac is not as good as Whistle Pig 10..

I've not had the Whistle Pig, but I have heard others say it's very smooth w/great flavor profiles...

Anyone try the Hardin’s Creek yet? Some are starting to hit the stores and I’m curious to hear thoughts. A few have started popping up on the east coast.

I’ve been looking for that one for a while. Don’t see it around my area at all. How does it compare to the Bowman Brothers small batch?

I know it’s not Bourbon or Whiskey :anonymous:but I had to post my latest find for those in here that are also tequila fans. I bought a bottle of Clase Azul 25th anniversary today. C21EFAE1-60EF-4BA5-929C-FEB2CB826B4C.jpg

I believe that is suppose to have some peaty(ness) to it (kinda like DJ 1942), so I think you're good. You'll have to post when you crack it open, I'd be curious to see some sitting in a glass and hear your review of it. I've heard really good things, but have never tried it myself.

    Cheers!!!

To be honest I started a Tequila collection for my wife to give her since my bourbon and whiskey collection is getting larger all the time. I’ve bought her several of the Clase Azul and several other brands. I know we cracked open this one recently and it’s very good. It’s not Clase Azul but it’s very smooth. 590AC5E3-2496-41A3-B804-F888643712A0.jpg
