An empty breath mint tin costs $0 in any currency - and works just as well.

Wow, that's nuts. Toyota needs to wake up with vehicle security. Seems like an easy hack.

Is this only for push button start vehicles? Or keyed vehicles as well?

I keep my keys in a little metal tin after my neighbor showed me video of my truck unlocking and getting rummaged through. Didn’t get stolen because it still takes an actual key to start. It’s the push button to start ones that get stolen. all my neighbors trucks were opened up by a guy w a cell phone like device. 1chevy, 2 fords, and a dodge, and my tundra. At least he didn’t damage vehicles ( considerate thief )

This isn't just Toyota it's anything with keyless start. Inherent with the technology. The price of convenience.

I bought these for my other car. Put the fob in the pouch, went in the car and it started right up. It was then I realized there were two pouches, a non-faraday and a farady.
