They still have descent tread left but I don't know how long I want to tolerate the noise.

I feel like the Falken RT is going to be similar to the Nitto Ridge Grappler. Poop performance in the rain. Hence why its not 3 peak rated.

What is your recommendation on the Wildpeak R/T 35x11.50 Load C tires.
Is it enough for a half ton truck or is load C too light?

Wild peaks ride better than the Nitto RG so far, softer. better in rain also. We will see how they wear.

Mine are 295/70-18. WP are 69lbs and the RG are 70. All I can say is they are quieter and smoother.

DT shows that they are 75.9 lbs. I usually go by the manufacturers site. The Toyo Open Country AT III in the 295/70 is only 63 lbs. They will most likely be my next tire. My RG's are 285/70's and they are 59 lbs.

Had those tires on another vehicle. Noisy, actually. Fantastic performance tho.

Ha....have you ever heard a set of Ridge Grapplers once they hit about 30k miles? they sound like mud terrains.

Sadly, this was out of the box! Just loud on the highways. Worth it to me, I play music loud on the long highway stretches anyway. I'm still considering them on my Tundra regardless, though I'm also leaning towards the Wildpeak still too, we'll see what's what come time for tires in September.

Yeah I'm looking at new tires about that time as well. I rotated mine on Friday when I did the oil change. I have some tread life left but some cupping as well. We just put a wheel and tire pkg on the 4Runner in December with the Toyos. The Toyos have a high wet traction rating. I currently run 285/70's but may move up to 295's. In the 295's, the Toyo is the lightest. The Falkens are 69 lbs but $336 per tire isn't bad.

I am happy so far with the WPs. They will of course get louder as they wear but the wet traction is nice and I wanted a change from the RGs. Quiet as all get out right now.

Looks ok. Maybe for a taco. Not big enough for me.
