He was stating that sale on the tires at Wal-Mart has ended, but he was able to get a 14 day price match from Discount Tire. What does any of that have to do with the tires being mounted? :duh:

He was quoting post #26 in regards to post #24. Post #24 cleary shows that it was just a comparison pic - comparing how the wildpeak will look like vs the stock tire.

I see what you are saying, but he didn't quote post 26. He quoted post 28.

As far as the pic, yes the tire isn't mounted, but the rear tire looks like it might have uneven wear toward the outside. I think that was what post 26 was referencing. Don't think anybody thought the front tire was mounted.

The pic does look like uneven wear but it's an illusion with shadows and lighting. 50k miles on them and rides nice.....probably half of year of thead life left.

can you post a screenshot or forward me the email? Discount tire took forever to respond to my price match request and now they won’t honor it because the sale is over. If I can show them that they just recently price matched it maybe they will honor it for me.

Does anyone have a picture of their truck with them on? I’m sure someone has had the chance to have them mounted by now.

    Just had mine mounted yesterday.

Edit to add; they ride great and aren't noisy at all. I have the P rated WILDPEAKS on my 4runner and love them. Discount tire filled them to 42psi.

After a month of getting this deal I finally put my 5100's on with 275/ 70/18 Falken Wildpeak A/T3W. Mid setting with one shim on drivers. Also newer to me rims. The ride between the new tires and new Bilstens are suprisingly good.

When I checked they were at 39 front and back not sure what it's supposed to be at but I might bump it up to a even 40.

At lunch I set them at 40 but the tmps light went on. Maybe this a regular thing past 40 psi?
