they didn’t say why. They did also say that the non-tow/haul will have similar back order once they sell their current stock.

Has anyone else’s front bump stop turned blazing red????
They were without a doubt yellow when I installed them. Now they are as red as my coils I had powder coated.
I was adding some air to the tires and something looked weird. For damn sure if the bump stop has not completely changed color!!
The rear bumps stops are still yellow just kind of dirty.

Mine remain yellow but only 800 miles, nothing off-road, and garage princess.

Just kind of weird that they completely changed color. Not like they faded or something but completely changed color.

I shot TeraFlex an email to see if it was normal. I don’t see it causing an issue unless for some reason they have someway become brittle.

TeraFlex says no worry it is normal. No change to the consistency of the bump stop material.

I’ve got my install scheduled next week. I was able to get a set of the Sport version. Long wait for the tow/haul and I didn’t want to wait that long. So the plan is those on the level setting with a CB +1 and 295/70/17 on Icon 6 Speeds. Anyone have TSS/radar issues with a setup like this?

So far as I know, nobody has TSS issues with a level. It's only an issue if you lift more than 2 or 3 inches.

Is it possible they have contacted your coils and picked up the red from the powdercoat? Find it odd that Teraflex would say its normal for yellow to turn red....

Doubtful there is any contact as I would have to have some pretty nasty flex for that to happen plus the bump stop would be damaged physically if so and the lot numbers likely would be rubbed off.
Depending upon the compound used color change is possible.
I bought a black plastic/rubber antenna once and it turned a bronze color pretty quickly.
Color change does not bother me as long as the bump stop does not harden or soften.

Falcons installed today. I only had time to drive about 10 miles on them. So far they are everything y’all said they were!

Fine red dust coming off the springs and only sticking to the bump stop for some reason?

Quick comment about a warranty claim I recently went through with Falcon.

A few months ago, I discovered my drivers side shock leaking when washing the truck. After contacting TeraFlex's warranty department, they asked for proof of purchase and some pictures of the leaker. I obliged and a replacement shock was sent out within 10 days; pretty quick turnaround when taking the current state of affairs into consideration and the fact I'm north of the boarder. They said there was no need for me to return the failed shock.

Thought I'd share the positive experience, too often we only hear about complaints on the net. It's nice to see a company stand by their products no questions asked.

Picture of the shock after taking it off the truck:

WTF!?! Lol, they told me I had to send my leaking drivers side off to them in Utah. I live in Alaska, and paying to have the leaking shock pulled off / shipping it off / being out my truck / waiting for the repairs / paying to have it put back on, was a big NOPE.

So I bit the bullet and bought Pro shocks as to not be out my truck for however long. Just got them installed Thursday as a matter of fact, and was going to send Falcon off on Monday.

Am happy they took care of you, and happy for those who are enjoying their shocks. I certainly am NOT (and I won’t even talk about how they compare to the Fox Pro shocks as I am not exactly objective currently).

Maybe reach back out to Falcon and explain you are on this forum and are seeing how they are not being consistent. Ask them if there is a reason they made you jump thru hoops?
They may try and lay down some reasoning or they could be apologetic. Just keep your calm and see what can happen.

I know I've definitely sent customer service emails while passed on they normally give the polite version of Fuck Off. But when I've tried to be pleasant and give the benefit of doubt I have been surprised by how they corrected the situation.

Oh wow talk about a completely different experience. Here I thought it was standard procedure based on how easy it was to get the shock replaced.

The replacement was a refurb FWIW (no laser etching or logo on the lower mount) not that I really care. Hope you're able to get everything squared away.

Your situation makes sense, since you're out of the country and getting parts back across the border would have more fees involved. They'd have taken it back if it made financial sense so they could rebuild it for the next guy that needs one.

Old thread and response, but thought I'd add a little info for anyone that stumbles across this comment. Though the statement that they weren't banned on TW is technically true, this happened. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/kbvoodoo-rack-issue.596462/page-22#post-20072403

What is your experience with Stage 3 Motors? I was going to order something, but they have some bad customer service reviews especially with shipping the correct or undamaged products. Thanks!

I ordered at the same time. The box was dinged up but that's not their fault. It was obviously from rough handling by UPS. The packaging The shocks come I. Was pretty good and thought out.

While it took awhile to get the shocks, it wasn't a big deal especially the way thing are now.

I had zero issues. I ordered in November and received them in March. Everyone in the suspension world was back ordered like crazy.
They were very responsive anytime I inquired with them and offered a full refund if I did not want to wait anymore.

I would have no issues buying from them again. But that was 2 years ago so thing could have changed.

    Thanks Black.

I pulled the trigger as they had stock and a sale so got front and back Bilstein 5100s for ~$390. A great deal. Looks like they shipped the same day and UPS has them coming next week. Fingers crossed.

Just an update. Ordered the 5100 bilstein set (front / back) from Stage 3 Motorsports and they shipped the same day. Was UPS ground so took about a week to get here but I got them today. All looks new and perfect packaging.

    Next step is to install.

Thanks for the advice guys! Worked well for me.
