Extremely Cheap! 5.29 gears. Motive gears OK?

Somebody out here is selling an ADD stealth for $900 if you’re interested. Thought about picking it up for myself and swapping

Hopefully a black friday sale for full rear and still deciding on mini or full for front . Going to fab up Zuk's clam shell holder for the press and bech top diff holder. So far the biggest $$ will be the rear lsd...

 

Powertrax is a decent price at Jegs if anyone is looking.

 

Did you see if the company has them? I saw a few sites that had a good price but subject to what's available at powertrax.

So, no. Looks like you fellas are at the mercy of Powertrax since retailers are simply managing a drop-shipment system.

 

I did hear one stated mid Nov and another Jan-feb 2025. I never received a reply to my email. But $732 is a nice price!

 

I paid $730 in 8/2022 from summit for mine.

 

Just searched my Amazon order history for my Powertrax Grip Pro. Paid $586 in January, 2022.

I remember watching them on Amazon but I think the pricing changed right when I was ready to purchase. $586 was a good deal!

 

Nice! I was on the fence back then as I wasn't going to re-gear. And after my Auburn burnt out i was just going to leavecit be. But now that I am re-gearing it just makes sense to get a lsd back there.

 

I picked up gears, figured for the $ it’s a no brainer. I’ll prob never go bigger than 285/65/20, but just in case I change my mind, gearing will be there

That’s pretty much a 35” tire and you’re going to love the 5.29s with them. I run 285/75-18, which is dimensionally the same as you have. Well worth the gears…

 

Speedmaster sells the gears from their website, they a have military discount as well.

Front kit has been ordered! My gears are ready for pickup from polishing as well. I may take advantage of the sale and do the needle bearing bushing replacement as well…

Right. Now I'm probably going to a 295/65r20 which is about 35.4 x12.

 

Would you suggest getting the install tool and removal too, and the seal tool? Not sure what’s necessary and what’s fluff.

 

With the diff torn apart and on a bench, probably don't need the seal tool. But the R&R tools are good. I've got a set here somewhere you're welcome to use if you cover shipping. Same with a seal tool set
