Those are very reasonable prices. Better get them fast before Toyota charges more with the recalls and TSBs going on now.

if its under 36k pretty much the same i just did one with 1100 miles last week

 

every year manufacturers raise rates. i just pull their rates and add 200$ to keep toyota from shutting down this option for us to get warranties out to the consumers

 

Stupid question so forgive me but what’s the difference in platinum vs platinum wrap?

 

wraps usually are linked to vehicles that have been certified used for toyota. but my system only lets me sell platinum warranties. we dont even mess with the wraps. i had mine setup to offer the most coverages, last thing we all want to see is a customer who purchased a warranty be told parts arent covered

 

Interesting. My truck had 4 miles on it (2024 purchased in October) and just happened to be going over my paperwork and notice the wrap option is selected.

 

i would need to see the documents. every state is different on how things are worded. so i can only speak of what we see in California. your state might do wraps. California wraps are common on certified pre owned and leases

So this is a third party warranty company. i cant speak on them. but its not a toyota warranty. sounds like they are taking your normal 3yr 36k and your 5yr 60k power train out to 100k miles

not at all. we all have third party warranties. usually the coverage and protection is better than a factory warranty but they cost more money

Hi Richard. I am curious what makes you say that third party warranties are better than the extended factory warranties? Is the coverage and protection really better? Just curious as the Platinum plan seems to cover a lot. Thanks.

 

So the reason i say third parties can offer better protections is a few reason the big one being. lets say your radiator goes out and said company doesn't warranty radiators, well radiator goes out and causes their engine to seize on you, a lot of manufacturers will say because a non covered component went out we cant warranty the engine, most extended third parties don't do this. Now I haven't seen Toyota do this but have seen other brands

I emailed Jerry a week ago. I sent him all the info as posted earlier in the thread. He called me back the same day and had everything ready. Took care of business quick, he was great. I got the 10 year warranty. Saved me a thousand bucks from what the dealer was asking.
