You do realize you are quoting the "Crappington Post" which is pretty much a zero source for anything of any importance to rational thinking humans. (And I never cared for Manning that much.) In other words, Bull :censored:

I agree about Manning retiring. My thought is he will soon be IR'd to allow another position player to take a spot on the team.

Manning is pretty tall when you see him up close. heh heh. If all this is true, I don't give a rat's ass, especially when I have nephews and nieces serving overseas in our military to make sure crap outfits like Huff Post can exist.

Well Mat, nothing compares to our soldiers that are over there in what capacity they are in. Got a nephew that's going to the Marines. God Bless him and every soldier that defends the ground I walk on .

Well said. Certainly wouldn't be the first time that I was disappointed by what a famous athlete did. My co worker Bronco/"Manning will bring us the Super Bowl again" fan guys that brought up so much BS about Brady and his slightly deflated footballs, won't look as near as bad as what is being reported, "if true". Right Bronco fans? "crickets..............."

There is nothing nothing like USMC boot camp and beyond. "The Few ,The Proud" is for real) When your nephew graduates, remember to tell him Semper Fi (Always Faithful) when you see him. You do realize he will be totally different from a lot of kids his age. He was and is proud of his country and willing to put his life on the line. We need more like him for sure!!!!! OOOh Rahhh!!!

It wouldn't surprise me if he used it during his rehab stage from his neck surgery. Anything to speed up the recovery to get back to making millions.
What surprises me is that he used his wifes name instead of a trusting good friend to keep his name completely away from it.

Well said Mat, you are correct. I just said to him..... If you are serious, then give it your 110%, he's devoted and Semper Fi, thanks Mat. My dad was Navy and brother was 82nd airborne. Me..... Well I'm just a lonely sub welder. I feel that I serve a purpose. I work on the vessels that keep us protected.

If true, maybe my guy, Bret Favre gets his records back. I'd rather it not be true as much as like Bret.

My dad's brother served in the Navy in WW2, and my mom's brother, my Uncle Larry, who is no longer here, served for 33 years in the Army. Gen Abrams was at his funeral in Georgia. My mom (who is 91 yrs old now) brought back the news clippings which I have and can post. His son , my cousin Jim, was a West Pointer grad and retired several years back. Needless to say there was always the Army/Marine Corps pride going on between us. All good. Navy can't use their subs without you and co-workers. Your are just as much a part of it as the "Squids" piloting the subs.

considering manning's odd shaped cranium it's not really hard to imagine that he would be on GH. he reminds me of the bad guy on the mask.

Checked all the sports news wires this morning. Totally blowing up. Denials and accusations galore. Manning has such a stellar reputation, I wonder if the NFL (ie:Goodell) will good after Manning like he did with Pats/Brady. Goodell messed that up badly. Depending on what region, the comments I've read are all over the place ranging from outright glee to no way. This is only good for Brock Osweiler. I remember Manning stating he would do whatever it takes to recover from his neck injury and get back to football. He did have some crazy numbers in 2013. Awful numbers by 2015. This is only going to get better.

gh or not osweiler is the guy for the job now anyway. manning has a great mind for the sport but his arm strength has plummeted to the point where corners are having a hayday with him this season.

Manning was getting a little banged up too which couldn't help either. He never looked comfortable at all in that new offense. Before the GH thing broke, most local sports commentators here were pretty much in agreement about Manning being done for the rest of the season. I think Osweiler should turn out to be a pretty good QB. He is not doing that bad now , just making some unwise decisions at times which he will learn from with more snaps. He has made some decent passes that have been getting dropped by Pro Bowler's which doesn't help.

for sure. he looks good to me now and can only stand to improve as he finds his groove. it would be disappointing to have manning's legacy tarnished if these accusations are in fact true though.

Manning seems to be a decent fellow, all around good guy. I'm inclined to give him a pass. I think he just still wanted to play real bad and he may have gone too far, especially since the NFL banned GH the same year (2011). A lot of people hated Brady, not so with Manning.

"I don't care if he did take hgh. If you watch NFL football and buy it's product and you think a 250 lbs 7 percent having man can run a sub 4.5 40 yd dash and be natural you don't understand the human body and it's capabilities or lack thereof. The game is what it is due to PEDS and other therapies that speed the bodies natural recovery. Why as a society are we okay with cortisone injections into joints which is a steroid, just not anabolic in nature, but not the type of peds that improve muscular size and speed? Insecurities? The cortisone improves recovery time and allows guys who would have been on the bench to play. Hgh does the same thing for intense injuries"

    Pretty much this 100%.

That's why I think the NFL won't go too hard on Manning. Think about how many hard hits he has had over his career. I little help doesn't hurt things to allow you to still be able to play at a high level. If Manning truly used them in his recovery, I don't have much of a problem. He should fess up right away though and state that is what he did and get over with it.
