I'll have mine on by the end of the week hopefully. What suspension you have up front? Curious to see if my icons with 600lb springs hold up..

Finally got my Expedition One Storm Trooper bumper finished and installed. Decided to color match. Went with a Warn VR-12S winch (remote mounted control unit in engine bay). PIAA RF6 yellow fogs and Baja Designs Squadron Pro spots in the ports. Flipster V2 license plate mount. Think it came out pretty well.

I turned m6 attention to the rear bumper. The light ports are 4 1/2”!!
The BD squadrons are 3” so i decided to flush mount the squads
Sorry pictures are soso. I also drilled for the sensors

I have Kings and didn't go to a heavier spring. Talked to Ben at Filthy Motersport (where I got mine) and he assured me that I was still well within the limits for the OEM Kings even with the bumper, winch and armor I've put on. Only had it on a few weeks, but so far so good.

I think it will depend on what other equipment you have installed. I installed a dobinsons 2 3/4” lift that included medium duty rear springs.
The front bumper with winch is about 200lb increase. On the rear I have the rear bumper with dual swing outs & winch, aluminum topper, complete bed draws and storage, 60L fridge, twin grp 31 batteries, and some other stuff easily added 600+lbs

I wanted to protect my synthetic winch line from sun and rain, so built a cover for the top access holes in my Stormtrooper bumper out of ABS plastic. Easy to remove with just the three cap screws in front. Will see how it holds up to the elements.

Nice bumpers and great builds guys. Both look solid. @BigWalker how are you liking the Dobinson suspension. I have moved them to the top of my list....I think:notsure:

@Broncobroke the dobinson suspension is pretty decent. I wanted a no maintenance solution. Ive been running a king 2.5 coilover setup on my jeep pickup and it requires attention annually and didn't want that. I installed it at 600 miles and now has 9600 mile which includes two cross country trip. Cleared 34” tires even after the bumper and winch install of about 450 lbs increase. I also run a small air bag set up for towing
OME is good but i think dobinson manufactures some of it
I hope to start a build thread soon
    Cheers
