The only time I had to bring my Tesla to service was when my previous one had some sort of very small rattle at times. Like a faulty UCA. The UCA’s were replaced at no charge as I read that in 2018, that was a known issue. (Mine was a 2018)
    Still didn’t fix it
Tesla then took out the rear seats. Still couldn’t find it.
They finally tore it all apart. Ended up being a tube of chapstick under the carpet! I only had to pay labor lol.

Everyone thought the same thing about video games going online and being fixable with updates... years later all it has done is encourage shitty products because "we can fix it after launch" has become the norm.

Tell him "sure, but need a down payment up front." When he asks how much, $80k.

Took a MYLR for a demo drive today. Wife and I both felt a little carsick afterward. Wasn't easing off the throttle. That auto braking isn't messing around. I'm sure it takes a few more drives to get used to it. More road noise than I was expecting. Fun in a straight line for sure.

It would cost ~$50k. $7500 tax credit. Would save $3k/year on fuel easily. Maintenance costs go way down, obviously.

I don't know. Wasn't exactly blown away to be honest. :anonymous:

I had one as a rental and it took a bit to get used to one pedal driving but it’s awesome once you have it down.

for me the negatives on the MY is road noise, no rear cross traffic, no 360 camera, and no blind spot monitoring.

Road noise better on other models? It was downright loud compared to our LX.

The Y and 3 are similar. Haven’t driven an X or S. But I’ve heard all teslas are high in the cabin noise dept.

I remember it from SATX to Houston. But I like riding with my windows down anyways. At the time I drove a crv and tundra and it was similar . My raptor is pretty quiet so I’m curious what it’s like today

Road noise isn’t terrible on my M3P. Tires make a big difference as with all vehicles. You just hear more as there is no engine overtaking the sounds like in an ICE vehicle. I think it was 2021(?) double pane windows on the fronts were added. The M3 Highland mentioned (I think) double paned glass on all four windows.

All the companies who got grants or reduced loan incentives should give them to Tesla for building the charging network that literally everyone is going to use

Anyone who uses their network, that isn’t Tesla has to pay a monthly fee (12.99) + costs to SC. I believe select high network ones will remain only available to Tesla
