Yup. It's the '90's sci-fi futuristic appeal that would sell it so long as it was reasonably prices. Imagine if it were a Model 3 Performance or Long Range with that body style. I'd be tempted at the lower price point because the body style there looks like something out of (insert any '90's movie set in the 2000's).

the CT truck will sell, but it would sell more if it looked more like the F150.

I hear all the flack about aero drag, so make it a tad swoopy, like the MS.

I think ZZ Top should design the next Tesla Truck.

the CT is just to hard to like BECAUSE of it's LOOKS.

It's easy to like for it's capabilities.

Raise the MX about 4 inches, stretch it 4 inches. Bam - winner.

 

For the truck, I agree. The looks are terrible, but I don't think the SUV or roadster concepts posted were nearly as unpalatable. One of the biggest turn offs the Cyber Truck has for me is the sloped bed. It was done on the first gen Ridgelines, and though it looks ok-ish it was shown to limit the usability of the bed for truck stuff. Yes, the bed rails would help, but I still prefer flat rails. It's easier for racks, shells, or just for tossing stuff over the bedside. Think putting a backpack in while hunting or tossing trash out at the dump. The angles there aren't going to be a benefit. I get that aerodynamics are the game here, but unless it's being built for stealth, I don't like the angles on a truck.

$7500 for a tesla wrap is steep. My raptor quote for full xpel stealth was like $6k.

Teslas are so easy to take apart and have like zero body lines. Most who I’ve asked about wrap coat is like $3500-4k.

 

He also mentions again the $7500 credit will be offered at time of purchase come 1/1/24. Really hope this pans out.

A $41k LR Y would be bonkers, don't know if I could hold out for the Juniper refresh.

 

We need a wrap that makes the MS look like a 911 Turbo S.

or a ZL1 Camaro.
