I saw car and driver post pages for a new bz3x and bz5x which is interesting. Like a tiny SUV and large SUV equivalent to the bz4x. Still not much out there on the all EV tacoma. The bz4x seems to continue to be underwhelming compared to similar offerings, I am seeing used ones listed for 40k even now, with a few thousand miles. Definitely considering one as a third car but not for 40k+.

had reserved the cyber truck since the day it was announced, however, not intending to get rid of my tundra, makes me reconsider whether if I need another truck.
So I am now seriously considering a model Y instead of a cyber truck (reserved). Is the cyber truck going to be a much bigger vehicle compared to model Y? or even compared to my 2020 tundra?

The CT is only releasing the 320(?) mile one. Not sure if you can wait for the larger one? I can bet if you did get the CT, and arent happy with it, you can most likely flip it a month later for a lot more.

Oh, I didn't know they are only building the lower mile CT, I ordered the tri-motor (which seems to be replaced by quad motor now) model, so does that mean its still TBA for the delivery time?
Also if I want to flip the CT within a year or maybe couple of months, would that still qualify me for the $7500 tax deduction?

    Thank you!

I think the deduction would depend on your total income (I think). If you qualify for it by the time you flip it, I'm sure. Who knows when the longer CT trim will be released.

I hope this is released and is included in the 3P; hopefully it can be done OTA and not have to purchase a brand new one

Every time I see the "credits" word, I get lathered up.

decent hard working folks who do well in life get exempted from these credits. kinda silly.

so we have to fund these credits that we will never qualify for. Ponderous.

I wonder if it's a true air suspension or if it's electrically controlled through the struts.

And depending on your spot in line it might be 2025 or 2026 before you get one. Lower end base models won't hit the streets until late this year. And production ramp isn't suppose to really hit until middle of 2024. It is going to be a minute for these things

Cybertruck is huge compared to the Y. I'll dig up the drone pic someone took of CT, Model S and X and Y all next to each other from an aerial pov.

They mentioned on the recent Q2 earnings call that their goal was for CT to fit in a standard 20ft garage.

I'm number 500k give or take. I waited 4 days to order because I couldn't decide if I liked it.

“During a call with investors, it was revealed that the Cybertruck will measure less than 19 feet bumper to bumper but have a bed over six feet in length. That means it's shorter than its main battery-powered rival, the 19.25-foot Ford F-150 Lightning, but has a longer bed (the Ford's measures 5.5 feet).”
