Great. Now my car can make itself used before I even get to drive it.





























This is low key cool AF if you live close to the factory.

 

ya know....the best part of buying a Tesla is picking it up.

they make it fun.

and make you feel special.

 

How so? Do they make you do the stupid "ring the gong" thing that I had to do when I got my first Tundra?

 

1. the purchase process was simple & nonconfrontational
2. the delivery process was smooth - all done thru an app.
3. the pickup process was joyful. you walk into the showroom & your car is in the middle with your nametag...congratulating and thanking you.
4. they show you everything in a calm constructive way.


all of these are lacking when it comes to buying from a mafia based dealership.


last car ICE bought was the Tundra...it was awful.
I had to fight:
for the price
for the trade in
for the add ins
for the financing
for the shit they tried to tack on during finance
to remove the fucking dealership sticker before I drove off.

it was awful....as every other ICE car I have bought.

I would never ever touch a VW product.

reason - the ev motors fail at ~20k miles because the cooling lines are poorly engineered & leak into the motor.

you have to remember every 20k miles to have your motors serviced....not warranty.

Yeah, but it's just a wheel. With how she takes care of you, you can deal with a few scuffs here and there.


Honestly, you should be blaming Tesla. All those cameras and it can't avoid a curb?

 

Eh, in my experience the only thing "learned" if something like this is made into a huge deal is one of two things:

1. He's a dick if I touch his stuff. This leads to "he's controlling" or being so nervous doing anything that mistakes become more common.
2. Better to deny all knowledge and hide things to avoid the anger.

But I'm also terminally single, so take my advice for what you paid for it.

Saw a VW iD4 in traffic this morning. It's charging door was all jacked up, trying to close over and over..

 

one of the ladies I work with has a id4

her husband is a mechanic at vw

she hates the car… for a number of reasons

main one is charging. No home charger
