Any rumors you can legally share about a X refresh?

I heard somewhere the S and X will eventually get eliminated, due to low production orders from 3 & Y competition

Whatever this forum told me to do
going to eyeball an LX600. probable test drive

    but....damn...it stickers for 108k.

WTF happened? it's only a glorified 4runner now.

I am dreading stepping into the dealership.

The Tesla experience was awesome...they let us take the MX without a salesperson riding along.

This is not going to go well. I reckon I will cross my arms about 20 seconds into the dealership.

I hope they have a nice Sequoia inside...I'd like to see how they have changed---our 2006 Seq was perfection.

and I learned the reason why we have wood in our MS Plaid. that was only for '21. now you can only get carbon fiber.

5 days per week, 50 weeks per year. If the fuel cost that made him arrive at $65/day stays constant, he saves $16,250/yr.

I think Teslas are awesome and even like the polarizing CT, but let’s not pretend that buying a $100k depreciating asset to save $16k/yr makes sense from a purely financial standpoint.

The most compelling argument involves tech and smiles per charge, too.

That looks good assuming he paid cash. I stand corrected on the simple figures, but I am thinking the guy is like most people who didn’t pay cash and will trade out of it before breaking even.

    Agreed.

I have a hard time believing his net savings is that high.

    Diesels are fairly efficient.

and Electrons are not always cheap.

right now $.40/kwh is the breakeven point. and some Tesla Superchargers charge about that much. $.33 around here.

    Lx600. Vs MX

In short. The lx600 is small

Went by Lexus to see an lx600. I sat in front passenger seat. Got very comfortable.

then my son, 6’3”, went to sit behind me.

he said “ dad move your seat up so I can get in

    what?

    seriously?

    yep

There is no way I would need to move my seat up in a $110k suv. This was the base model plus stereo upgrade

    yup

it has the same leg room as the MS rear seats

    we were amazed.

no friggin way 4 adults could sit in that suv

Then we went back to Tesla. My son wanted to sit in the MX.

Easy fit. 4 adults could easily take a ride in it

and the Plaid is $15k cheaper than the lx!!

I remember when the Land Cruiser was a decent size. Now, it’s a 4Runner.

    the gx550 looked awesome. $75k!
