1. could it have a worse name?
2. that nose cone would last 1 day in my household.
3. That suspension would last 2 days on Houston Metro.

 

It's smarmy comments like this that keep me coming back for more.

All this FSD talk.

1. We don't care to use it. it's weird.
2. We use the regular cruise control. somethings the lane holding cruise control.
3. It slows down updates.
4. We like driving. Sitting there, and hoping you don't wreck, is not fun.

 

I'm speaking about it for two reasons.

1. The value proposition should I ever put it up for sale. FSD is a gimmick, but one that can increase value.
2. The potential emergency use to me as a single guy without anyone close. If I fall down my stairs and break a leg, arm, or both the future updates may have it to the point it can drive me to the hospital and save the ambulance bill.

 

Ok, so is there a legitimate work around here? With the comment quoted below I feel like I'm missing something.

1. I doubt will increase sale price. most folks don't have/want FSD.
2. Really? just call the "amber-lamps". it ain't worth dying twice. although, this example made me ponder. The price of FSD is way more than the wagon. Life Flight? that's another story.

 

I see them getting into the CT this way:

 

1. The little research I've done claims it increases the value.
2. Obviously life threatening events should be treated as such. I didn't say "if my liver is hanging out of a 10" gash in my side" for a reason. Not all hospital visits that might prevent or inhibit driving are worthy of an ambulance.

had to go to the Lake in 2 cars. sold the patio furniture & were meeting the buyers.

so, we head out. She follows me until I have to break out to go by warehouse to drop a load of trash.(it's on the way)

about 10 minutes later, she gets a phone call......From.........TESLA.

The nice lady asked it it was her inquiring about a MXP. she laughs (knowing it was me that inquired).

My wife told the nice lady she thought she was calling because...wait for it......she was driving too fast.

I kid you not.

the nice lady responded & said "Tesla is good, but not that good".

I still can't get behind a company that can't figure out how to make any of their lighting systems work for any extended amount of time. I thought Dodge was bad, but they take the cake.

 

Maybe I haven't been following thief's of Tesla's, but would it be possible without the various keys? Maybe with a RFID emulator, but I'm not tech-y enough to know.

 

My guess is these were the smash and grab thieves that steal items in the vehicle, not the vehicle itself.

 

Makes sense. I was thinking it was pretty stupid of them to think they would be able to steal the vehicle, but could see a CT as being a target for theft.
