My buddy owns a plaid and my old M3.
He took down a Demon here. It’s nuts, because with a Tesla you can race 20 times and not have to open the hood to fix something. Don’t have to worry about transmissions, or blowing diffs.

Whatever this forum told me to do
you touch on an important observation...most, if not all, folks have no idea how fast EV's are.

take away the foo-foo greenie crap & you are still left with a car that can out accelerate most everything.

and having this new safety-score running on the app is...well....very telling.

evidently someone in my herd follows other cars to closely.

Not to mention that EV's don't handle like cars that have similar speed capabilities. They accelerate faster and weigh a lot more = more braking distance. Surprised that we don't see more EV's wrapped up around trees in the ditch.

As someone who has spent a fair amount of time on/in fast machines, I find my brain failing to keep up with the speed of my M3P. The next corner/stop sign/stoplight/exit, etc. sneaks up quickly when you're accelerating at that pace.

    dead on.

you have to look a QTR mile ahead in order to do a pull. these cars will be triple digits in a few seconds.

We have the PERFECT road behind our Subdivision...new concrete, very little traffic. about 2 miles long.

Dec-21 - the month we got it....we did 2.4 seconds 0-60 with 4 adults in it. I was too smart & not brave enough for a 1/4 mile run....not safe.

The safety score is only for their insurance or to be opted into FSD beta

damn straight...I would not have believed it, but I used my Dragy. the G force is unreal.

I did a post in the Harrop Stage 1 thread comparing 0-60 runs against the S/C Tundra. it was silly. the plaids G-force never stopped. you could see the Shifts in the Tundra.

Does AP steer for you in traffic if you keep a finger on the wheel?

I guess I don't know the full features of all 3 options.

If engaged; you can also use a volume control or any wheel click to override the wheel. It’ll keep you centered in said lane if enabled.

At random times, I see this red Tesla and park next to it at the gym. Other times, they’ll park next to me. They never park close enough to alert sentry cams. Today, I purposely walked in front of it and gave a peace sign to the front camera hoping they’ll do the same so I can figure out who they are lol

You can live via app (and speak to someone) or you go to ur dash cam icon, (must be in park) choose sentry from the list. I keep my dashcam icon on my home screen for quick access.
Tip* you can always save any driving dashcam footage by either hitting that icon, or voice command.

They should just have a little amber light in the mirror for blind spot monitoring like every other car company. The camera on the screen is dangerous for when you're changing lanes left, but have to look right to see the screen. Or have a screen in front of the steering wheel like Kia does, my wife's Telluride has this and it is really nice!

That's pretty cool. If they used those to spread out the charging stations/add them to areas that don't already have high traffic, it would be a boon. Sadly, at least here in the States, some shit-whit is going to vandalize it. I hate people.

Meth heads suck. They hit cell towers for the copper coax cable, too. Saw a cell site where they smashed/cut a hole in the wall so they could reach in and open the door, but looking for shit to steal.
