I'm not trying to poke here... But, if I wanted an e-vehicle that would perform well on a track, why wouldn't I just go w/the Plaid??

It's a truck, and it's meant to do the duties of a truck. So, let's see it doing those things. I don't care about it's 1/4 mile time; I don't care how it handles on a track; and I don't care how it performs in those environments against its competitors. Show me truck stuff

this would be similar to those mongrels that put big ass superchargers on their Tundras.....wait.....scratch that.

    Let's try this...

most folks are foo-foo and buy trucks for non-truck reasons...this is the target market for CT.

like most folks folks, I have a truck because it's comfortable & I can put shit in the back whenever duty calls.

the folks that TRULY use a truck for truck stuff will always buy a truck.
    commercial use = ICE
    heavy towing = ICE

obvious point here is range. can't look past that. it's fundamental.

once you overcome the range thing, there is no better truck on the road now.

I will probably buy one once my Tundra gets weary.

and to your point about just going with a Plaid...dead on.
have a truck for truck stuff
get a Plaid for fun stuff.

    life is good.

I think because it’s just fun to have it for both I suppose. Nothing wrong with having a truck blow cars out at the track lol. My last tundra was SC’d and I ran it (once) at the track. Many guys here will change out to smaller pulleys, different tunes, etc….it makes it quicker, right? Just fun for both worlds

@nobodyintexas you could let your wife drive the CT, and when she hits / backs into something- pretty much zero damage :fistbump:

It's just more of the same. Don't get me wrong, the tech Telsa has developed is impressive, but the videos all follow the same pattern.

    It's amazing!
    - How so?
    Cuz it's fast!
    - Neat. What about backing a trailer? Blind spots? Loading up for 2 weeks of off grid camping?
    I said it's amazing!!!
    - Right, but why?
    Because racecar!

This particular video took a credibility hit when the guy claimed the CT was on "mud tires." IDK how I'm supposed to take him serious after that kind of blatant BS. Does that make the CT bad? Absolutely not, but it does ruin his ability to convince this "naysayer" of anything.

Well, you only gave one part of the aspect ratio. It's a completely useless question, so let me give an equally useless answer. Yes. 295s will fit.

Not sure on that. The slope of the cab might let you use a bed rack and put in a larger tent because of the lower rear roof. 90% sure the rear passenger headroom is shit, though.

ok...not related to anything...but, the latest...

we have one of those janky Sentry safes, like the hotels have, in our closet @ lake. It came with it. we keep boats keys, a gun, etc in it....

well...I asked her to put the Glock in there...she did...then........ she entered some random ass code to make the safe lock.

    yes....

    uh huh...

    all that.

So I combed the internets to no avail and ended up ordering some jiggler keys from covert instruments.

30yr annv last week....OJ got out before I did.

    life is good.

I think I’m going to change my order from the tri motor to the dual motor. $20k cheaper and tax credit eligible (for now). Pretty good value

I just watched a video and shows for the first time the rolling tonneau cover. Lolk Ike it has to be retracted to have the rear window visibility. That kinda blows. Great opportunity for digital rear view camera
