Left behind a 2000 taco. 267,000 miles and she still ran like a champ. Wish I could have kept it. IMG_0097.jpg

    I started with a 2012 Tacoma DCSB. I loved that truck. IMG_0095.jpg
Traded that in for a 2011 Toyota Tacoma 4cyl 5spd. Which I still regret doing. DSC01527.jpg
Totaled that before that first Payment was due. IMG_0130.jpgNow I'm in a 2010 Tundra Which I've only had a few weeks but I'm already loving it. IMG_0139.jpg

It was my second Tacoma after totaling the first (not my fault). After 9 years of Tacomas I just wanted something bigger with luxury.

In June of 2012 I traded a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe for a 2008 Tundra Dble cab 4X4 with the 4.7, to pull my camper. In April this year I traded up to a 2015 Tundra Dble cab 4X4 5.7

Just last month, a 1990 Jeep Comanche 4.0L straight 6, 4x4 metric ton package, that I'd owned since new. 265K miles. I didn't leave it far behind though ... sold it to my brother. It was and still is a good ol' truck.

Came from an 08 Tacoma that was pretty modded. Tundra will not go down this path.

I'm pleased to know someone else appreciates that truck. It's not much to look at, really. I was going to have it painted, but got too old to be climbin' out from under it anymore. Still, I have a real affection for it. I'll try to get a picture of it over Christmas at my brother's house.

Left behind my 2006 Tundra (still see it riding around town every now and then). After 178k miles and running out of ideas for new mods I decided it was time for a new one.

Here's the ol' '90 Jeep Comanche Pioneer 4x4 Metric Tonne that I sorta left behind, shown at its new home, my younger brother's house.

Thanks, it wasn't easy, really. Not once has anyone else ever been under the hood. If I get half the service out of this Tundra that I got out of that Jeep, I'll be more than satisfied. (and I'll be really OLD, too!)

1997 FZJ80. It was like a member of the family, but couldn't tow. Regretfully sold, but we couldn't be happier with the Tundra.

As in Storm Trooper, hahaha. Good looking Tacoma. I've got a neighbor who just bought a new white 4-runner and is going the Storm Trooper Look.

I left behind an 07 Tacoma Dbl Cab Lb. I loved that truck but needed something bigger for the kids. I'm really impressed by my new 2016 CM XSP-X. This new truck is awesome.

I had a 09 2.7L base Taco Access with Good Year Dura Tracs being the only upgrade. Great truck. Drove it all the way to AK and back. I realized that the 2.7L was lacking somewhat. Hence my 07 Tundra. The Tacoma is clearly the best truck for its size.

2011 Tacoma. I miss the manual transmission but the HP/TQ upgrade in the Tundra is fair trade.

Before my first Tundra had this jeep and wheeled the crap out of it. I'll never sell this thing, it's sitting patiently waiting for construction on my garage to be built up into its next evolution.

After that my wife wanted in on the fun of the desert...

So we got motos and bought my most very favorite vehicle every to haul our stuff there, our Gen 1 Tundra:

Now the jeep will be ready to wheel go soon and I wanted something that would tow that and a travel trailer had so the Gen 1 just got replaced with a Gen 2. I'm kinda sad about selling my old truck, but hopefully the new one will treat us just as well.

Shameless plug: if anyone wants the Gen 1, it's in the classifieds here.

My first car was my 2006 Tacoma TRD Sport Prerunner. Got her with 20K miles in 2008 and sold her with 59K in December 2011 to get my 2012 Tundra. I loved this truck and hated to see her go. For a 2wd with mechanical LSD it did very well off roading. Had a piece-o-shit revtek 3inch spacer lift, Borla Catback exhaust, K&N CAI, BHLM, Blacked out tail lights, Alpine double din with Type-s speakers, Wet Okole seat covers, Piaa 420 ATP spot lights on a smitty built light bar. Was my pride and joy and never intended to sell her, but i got her when i was barely 6'0 in height, sold her when I ran out of room after reaching 6'6. Originally wanted the new second gen Tundras but my folks didn't want to buy a full size 4x4 Tundra for my first truck lol, I was blessed to even get a truck. The bottom picture is how she looked when I got her.
