No it didn't! Just a spontaneous decision for a CrewMax to fit the family better and then had to find a Pro.

for whipping around the city and hard offroading i would say the tacoma had the edge but is nowhere close as nice or refined as my current truck. liked my tacoma but love my tundra.

My Tacoma was a very capable 4X4. The thing is, I'm taking my Tundra to the places, although a tight squeeze at times, the same places Wranglers are going. But then again, I'm not afraid to scratch it up and always been somewhat of a daredevil. It's all knowing what your limits are and some common sense (which sometimes goes out the window. heh heh)

Don't tell anyone here, :homer::, doh) but I owned a Civic. A 84. Used it to drive to work from LA to Anaheim for a year in 1987. 60 miles each way. It got rear ended. Totaled. (35mpg).

Still need to sell but came from my 2000 4Runner. Was supercharged, mid travel and fully armored. Loved it, but wanted a bed and more room for the family so in came the 06 DC.

Above Lake Tahoe on the west shore (Tahoma). My wife was too scared to get out of the 4Runner because there is a cliff on the other side, so it had to be a quick picture haha.

Started with a 03 Focus (deer jumped in front of that), joined the military picked up a 97 Civic, E30 drift missile, couple bikes, then moved to Germany and took my wife's E36 piece of shit. Couldn't get it to pass inspection so I got a Ranger, sold that for an 07 Civic, traded that for the '14 TRD offroad Tacoma, had my daughter, now I have my '10 CM Tundra!

No particular order, needed more room and tow capacity. Looking at getting a toy hauler and a couple dirt bikes/quads when we go back stateside.

Long time Dodge driver, since 1994, got a 2011 ram that after a month had a new transmission, kept it till 2013, and got a tundra, always wanted one and finally test drove one, then got another tundra in 2015, like the 3rd gen body better and got the 5.7 v8 instead of the 4.6

Dodge always had a decent motor for their trucks, but drive trains have always been a big negative.

I was driving an Infinti QX-4. Liked it a lot, but it didn't have a bed and I need to haul things now and then. Like the 03 Tundra much better
