Hello, I’m new to the forum! I just purchased a 2024 Sr5 and installed a RC leveling kit. After the install was done it had all kinds of errors codes come up. Most error codes have to do with brake malfunction and front and rear brake assist. I did get the alignment done but they didn’t have the proper software for the 2024 yet. If I take it to the dealer to have the TSS reset will this resolve my issues ? Or do I have other issues ?

Just a quick heads up. dealers will use your lift kit to invalidate parts of your warranty. Theoretically they can only invalidate things that the aftermarket mods would effect but some dealers can be quite unscrupulous.

I tried the battery and was able to get all codes to go away but after a few minutes of driving all the codes came back. I tried it again but the codes won’t go away now.

Bummer, and like others have said sounds like the TSS sensor will need recalibrated. Must be a 3rd gen thing though since my 2020 has a 3 inch front lift with 1.5 on the back and I never had a TSS issue.

Is this something the windshield company’s can do? Or dealership only?

Well I had to take the truck to the dealership and was hoping it was just the reprogramming of the sensors, but it ended up being the wiring by the control arm some how got stretch and broke the speed sensor harnes. ‍♂️‍♂️

I'm sorry to hear that. I would've been surprised it was a calibration issue.

I have a very early 2022 (11/21 build) and I ran the RC spacer up front for the first few months because there were no suspension lift options. I never ran into any error codes. Now, I'm running a 3" lift and still have no issues (knock on wood).

Hopefully, the replacement wiring or sensor wasn't too expensive. I will say, from doing a lot of my own suspension work, this truck doesn't have as much "slack" in the various wiring harnesses & brake lines as other vehicles I've worked on.

$600 for the new part and that was with a buddy deal. I guess it could have been worse. You live and you learn. Pay some one to do it next time!
