Ok i had a code come up for my passenger side secondary air check(injection) valve. I bought the part and replaced it. In the process all the wires pulled out of the connector for the valve.

I bought a harness repair kit from the dealership and repaired the connector.

    Now I’m getting a p2438 and p0438 falt.

I have a few ideas of what I might have done wrong.

1: would simply be a bad connection where I connected the repair wires.

2: maybe wires touched while they were lose

3: me driving it while in limp mode caused stuff to go out.

I have no idea how to trouble shoot this electrical problem to make sure I’m not replacing things that don’t need to be replaced.

if anyone has a solution or can help me figure this out that would be great I have a meter And most the tools I should need to trouble shoot this.

    thanks for your time

Ok I found one problem I had the wires in reverse order. Now I’m just getting the camshafts position sensor bank 2 fault. Any ideas where the bank 2 cpm is?
