Dammit, I've been had. I'm pretty high on that list so I was sad after reading that article. I'll be a happy fool if it's still coming.

If the Cybertruck was cancelled, I was thinking of going your route and getting a Plaid. In the meantime, I think I need traction bars, lol.

The plaid will ruin your belief in ice cars

it will shift your thinking of fast cars

I realize times are changing, but the change happened very fast

9.3 sec 1/4 mile. In a grocery getter

And yes, get some traction bars

    Ok.

Now I'm 2 rear tires into this Tesla Plaid.

    simple nails.

of course, the wife says it's MY fault.

This Thursday all the tires will all be Michelin again...and match.

I’d stay away from HV lines by a 1/4 mile..

My brother figures as long as you're outside the right of way, there are no issues from a health perspective. Property values and ease of resale might be another matter.

Spoke with a couple of my buddy’s who are transmission line engineers and said 115kv aren’t a big deal at all. As one put it “you won’t even hear a buzz”.

at any rate, went and looked at the house along with 100 other people. Beautiful house but we didn’t even bother putting a bid in because it’ll probably go for 200 or 300k over.

I lived about a 1/4 mile from transmission lines, might have been higher voltages. There were 2 sets. We could not see them from our home due to the trees. I calculated that at that distance the effect was about the same as the voltage in your house wiring. I had a stack of reports I read back than. When driving a bicycle under the power lines, you would get zapped if you touched the metal. Fun. If you have a old fluorescent 4 ft bulb, go out at night under the transmission lines and hold it vertical In the air, it will light up. Also, The lines buzz especially when raining.

it does have an effect on the sales price.
